DO NOT SHOP AT THIS HORRIBLE STORE! I recently went to this store to ONLY look and my family fell in love with a kitten. I started the process to adopt and the young woman who helped us was very nice but completely untrained. We were rushed through the adoption documents which led to a few questions being unanswered by mistake. I left the store to get cash (only cash accepted). When I returned I was met by the "manager" Russell. He rudely told me that do to some of my answers being blank I could not adopt. My 2 small children were devastated by this. I continued to apologize and try to explain but he would have none of it and was arrogant and rude. I finally found the real Manager named Lauren who was helpful and told me to contact The company "Last Chance" and speak with them because its there rules. When I spoke to the rep at Last Chance she was mind boggled why they would do such a thing and called the store to tell them stop acting like fools and proceed with the adoption which they did.

Took my 10 week old puppy here to have his nails clipped, which came with a bath, so I figured why not. When we got there they took him to a back room and while I waited I didnt see him once. I figured the bath was back there, which is fine. I just waited patiently for them to be done. After about 45 minutes, I saw them bring him out to the front to clip his nails. His ears were basically vibrating, he was shaking so bad. He also smelled like he had been dipped in perfume. It was way too strong a smell for a little puppy. He whined the entire car ride home like he was hurt. I looked at his claws and he wasnt bleeding, but I never got to see him so I dont know what they did to him. But he whimpered for most of the night. They must have either cut his nails too short or traumatized him in some other way, because he is terrified of riding in the car now. tldr; Didnt get to see how they handled him and he came back smelling like an 80 yr old woman and visibly scared. 1/10 would not recommend.

This is honestly the best Petsmart that Ive ever been in. I went in with my hyper active boxer on a Sundays afternoon and the store was busy. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the cashier. Walking around and looking at dog food an employee working that section actually asked me if I was finding everything I was looking for and if I had any questions. I told her that I was going to be moving my boxer from puppy food to adult food and I didnt know what to get her. The employee grabbed two kinds of foods and went over the ingredients and benefits of both and made her recommendation. I was impressed!! Its not that often you find a place with great customer service. A dog trainer at the store noticed my dog being hyper and pulling, she came over and gave me some tips and tricks of what I can work on and grabbed me a training schedule for classes I was interested in taking. I would honestly go here over the Petsmart 15 minutes from my house any day. Very impressed!!

So we call about a week ago to step up an appointment for our dog Safi to get groomed. Lets be clear Safi has been going to the Pet Smart in Hanover Maryland for 9 years. We were told she can not be seen because she sat down last time during her grooming. Even though the report we receive after her last visit said she was wonderful and loving dog with no problems. This was never told to us, Pet Smart just put a note in the computer that she can not have an appointment. And of course the groomer was on vacation and was suppose to call us about this matter when she returned and never did. What makes matters worst is that we had schedule an appointment before we left the last time we were there, but had to cancel it. This is horrible that you can put a ban on my dog but never tell us until we try to schedule. The fact that you dont follow up with your customers. Horrible way to do business.

I love PetSmart. I from Philadelphia and I usually go to the PetSmart on Rte 130 in Delran, NJ. They have a great rescue called the Cats Meow which I adopted 3 cats from. Anyway I was in Hanover for the Military Bowl today and I arrived last night and stayed in Arundel Mills area and decided to picked more cat food since I needed it and when I went in I was impressed. I thinks is great there is the Banfield Animal Hospital on premise and the Cats R Us rescue which I seen a pretty gray tabby #139. She was so cute wish I couldve taken her but I already have 5. The store was nice and the staff was very helpful. I recommend PetSmart to anyone in the area.

I took my dog in this morning around 8:15 to get his nails clipped as part of walk in grooming service. The hours for grooming are 8a-6p. There were 3 ladies there and 1 was not doing anything. So when I said I was there for nails, the 2 ladies grooming told me they could not cut my dogs nails as the registers didnt open until 10am. I then told them that previously one of the ladies had cut my dogs nails and was able to ring me up at a register. So I am not sure what changed today. I wont take my dog back for walk in service. If they cant ring up, then change the hours on the website for walk in services.

Grooming is a nightmare here! Scheduling an appointment is impossible. The groomers (kim) cut both my dogs up really bad on the ear. She didnt even see it because it only started bleeding when I got home. I booked an appointment with her because she was the only one available. Anyhow, never coming back to this place where they charge you for EVERY little service. And how I had to pay extra for medicine because my pups ears were cut. Pros: -dog smells fantastic afterwards -haircut depends on who does it Cons: -associates are rude -overpriced -scheduling an appointment

what is the point of making an appointment if my dog isnt going to be seen at that time. My dog appointment to get his hair cut was 9am I get him there at 845. The groomer was not there at 9am then once the groomer got there they were taking dogs in front of mine. I will never bring my dog back to petsmart this was not the 1st time. Then they sit there on they cellphones but say they are overbooked management should Crack down on them if u asking for us to pay damn near 60.00 then an extra 3.00 if you book for a weekend. Poor service

I will never use this facility again. We arrived at our schedule time. I signed for service the very rude young lady that waited on us took my boxer back, immediately called for another employee, this entire time I could see her in the next room. The young lady came back out and stated they could not help us because my dog was foaming at the mouth and tried to bite her. My boxer drools excessively but there was no foam, and he has never attempted to bite anyone, luck you like crazy but never bite. Worst service ever.
