Great experience at Wolf Furniture! I have been in every furniture store in the Baltimore region and have been tremendously disappointed. Fortunately, I found Wolf Furniture in Frederick. The trek from Columbia was not bad, and well worth the trip. The selection of furniture, both on the floor and in the catalogs, is exceptional. I found more than what I was looking for, and was guided by the most wonderful salesman, Steve Ellis. Steve pointed me in the direction I needed, and allowed me to wander on my own. He was available to answer my questions, but not intrusive, which was much appreciated. Ive read the 2 negative reviews, and can not relate at all to their comments. The sales people were abundant and friendly, and the selection far superior to that of Havertys, Ashley, The Room Store, and even Shofers. The play area for children is wonderful, and the free sandwiches and coffee an extra treat. I am a Realtor and feel that the bar I set for customer service is high. I was not disappointed, will continue to shop at Wolf with Steve as my sales person, and suggest that anyone in the area looking for furniture give it a go.

DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HAD I purchased a bedroom set (King Bed, Dresser, 2 nightstands and Armoire) we spend a pretty penny so we thought it smart to get the insurance. This was our mistake. DO NOT GET THE INSURANCE. Our furniture arrived the day after Christmas, did an A+ job installing. Not even 2 weeks later as Im crawling into bed I feel something snap under me. One of the side railings just gave out. We thought okay, this sucks but thats why we bought insurance. Took 4 weeks to get a repairman out (which we were reasonable about because it was the holidays) the guy walks in and says "Yup thats a broken siderail alright, itll take about 5 weeks for me to order that part. And another 4-5 for me to get back out here and install" Are you kidding me

Bought a living room furnature set. The couch wouldnt fit down in our basement. No big deal they took the couch and loaned us the love seat and chair till our new sectional came. That was almost 3 times the cost. This is where the problem starts. 4-6 week delivery turned into 8 weeks. The drivers were late, disrespectful and cant move furnature at all they struggled with 1 small peice. One of the couch prices came ripped. Apparently "Thats not wolfs problem". We could have someone come out to fix it or refuse it all to get it replaced which means 8 more weeks. We refunded it all and plan to go elsewhere. We were told 3 days for a refund. Long story short the refund was never processed. Still waiting for money. Dont shop here. Unless you like disappointment.

Steve Ellis was great! We fell in love with the furniture! We purchased during the 0% APR for 60 months and were guaranteed by Steve that even though we had to wait longer for some of the furniture to ship that we would still receive 0% APR since we ordered it during the same transaction... we waited for 2 months longer than we were told to expect for our end tables to arrive... he called us to let us know they had a delay and the end tables would be in soon!! Imagine my surprise!! I log into my account and see that I have an interest rate of 29.9% I was lied to just for Steve to make his sale. If this is how they do their business LOOK OUT!!! You bet if they were open right now I would be there talking to the financial department with Steve present!

Over priced, and poor selection in my opinion. When we did buy something it was delivered broken after arriving 2 to 3 weeks later than promised. When I called to complain, we didnt receive any money back, even after the replacement items delivery was rescheduled twice by them, not me, forcing me to take more time off work for their 4 hour delivery window, but was promised if i came back in to buy something else I would get a discount. Not sure how that seemed fair since I didnt need anything else, nor was I going to jump through that mess to find out it was probably only 10 to 15% off. No thanks Wolfs. There arent a lot of quality furniture shops around here, and Im sorry to say this is another bust for us.

Experience from h*ll with this store. A month after the delivery date that I was told and Im still without my furniture. Now, after the 2nd date I was told it would be ready, its not. Never seems to be a manager on duty and the salesman that sold me the furniture is always on vacation. Now half of my order is at the store but Im told if I want that brought earlier than the rest itll cost me an additional delivery fee. Right after a different salesman told me hed schedule the delivery for half my furniture (2 weeks from today, almost 6 from the original date) he abruptly hung up on me. Sure, I was aggravated but I assure you I wasnt rude. Will never use them again

They display furniture in their showroom but dont actually have it in stock. Then, they want to charge you a "transfer fee" to bring the piece in from their warehouse. Essentially, they charge you to be able to buy from them. What kind of business model is that? Additionally, the furniture came unassembled like crap from Ikea, but at twice the price. We werent told that up front by the salesperson. We were lead to believe we were buying a solid, built piece of furniture. I would not recommend.

We bought a bedroom set that had a delivery of like 2 months...it came 4 months later. We have had the set for only 1 year - the "finish" is chipping off and the knobs (which is FAKE wrought iron) broke, yes, BROKE IN HALF. My husbands dresser has 3 missing handles because they literally broke off when he opened the drawer. The furniture is very poor quality and the sales people lead you on. GO TO Hagerstown Furniture Outlet or Ashley Furniture. I have loved their stuff!

If you are looking for everyday leather chairs for your living/family room, they have a good selection. Otherwise, not so much. We did end up finding some items that we liked and ordered, but in the end had to look at their catalog since they didnt have it on the floor. As far as the service, we walked around for 30 minutes and not one agent (and there were plenty that were free) came up and asked if they could help us. We had to go chase someone down to buy something.

The sales person at Wolfs was fabulous. Very helpful. It takes awhile to get your furniture, but its nice stuff. We ordered our dining room & office from them years ago. What is very frustrating is that you pay a lot of money for their furniture AND delivery and the staff couldnt even work with me to give me an afternoon block of time on my delivery date for a last minute scheduling conflict.

My experience with Wolf Furniture was fantastic. I custom ordered an ottoman. The woman who helped me, Deb Mauk, was excellent. I was in the store several times trying to make up my mind on the fabric, and she was patient and very helpful. I have never gone into the store without someone approaching me right away to provide service. I would not hesitate to buy there again.
