I would choose 0 stars if it was an option. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY. Their delivery is absolutely terrible experience. I have to contact them every time. This has legit been one of the worst buying experiences for me to date. I bought a sectional couch from Ashley on December 15th, 2016 and was told ETA delivery was 12/20/16. I never heard anything from them and called them on 12/20/16. They informed that the couch wasnt even at the distribution center and wouldnt be arriving until 12/27. I had a Christmas party at my house on 12/23 without a couch. When I called and asked for my options I was told I couldnt cancel the order and be refunded my money but I could come to the store and pick out a couch to use during the party that I would have to pick up. I asked to speak to the manager who was with a customer and was told I would be called back - I was never contacted. I waited about 6 hours and called back in which I was told the manager was on break and would be contacted after their break - again was never contacted. I then called on 12/27 as I still was never contacted and had no information on delivery time. I was told they could delivery 12/29 from 12 - 3 PM and would call 30 minutes ahead of time. I got a call Thursday morning at 10:17 am saying they were 10 minutes away and I was not at home. I had to rush home from work as to not miss them. I then ordered an additional piece (armless chair to extend the couch as I had enough space) in which was not in stock early on 12/29 and was told I could pay $25 to transfer it to the Richmond store or it was another $139 to have it delivered. I was told it would be in week of 1/2/17 As of 1/5/17 I still have not been contacted. I just called Ashley and they informed it was at the warehouse in Fredericksburg but wouldnt be in Richmond until 1/13/17. This is absolutely ridiculous. I understand timing and shipping of items and availability but dont tell people times and dates and not meet those expectations. To top it all off I called the store looking for the manager and they said the managers name was Kim and the person working there didnt even know the managers last name when I asked for it! YOU DONT KNOW THE STORE MANAGERS NAME???? Again, DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE. This has been an absolutely miserable experience. I am being annoyed that I had to order something from them again as I was already stuck with the couch in the first place.

My girlfriend and I purchased a sofa and a bed totaling over $2k. After waiting the two weeks for delivery, we excitedly set everything up in our bedroom. On the SECOND night on our the new, very expensive bed, the slats broke. On inspection they had broken before and had clearly been wood glued back together. My girlfriend tried to call the store repeatedly to no avail. We then drove across town to the store to be told wed have to wait an hour for the manager to arrive. We waited and the manager pleasantly gave us the numbers to non-functioning voicemail boxes at the distribution center and NO other help. I finally got someone on the phone who told me itd be 2-4 WEEKS before they could send replacement slats. (God knows what those will look like) I could attempt to schedule a time for a "technician" to come and repair the bed. The "technician" who had delivered the bed originally drove, almost to a fault, every screw crooked. Before you buy from this den of horrors, remember that "ALL SALES ARE FINAL". They use easy financing to lure you into buying crap furniture and leave you out to in the cold once the ink is dry. Theyll up-sell you into "protection plans" that mean that someone MIGHT talk to you as opposed to giving you a non-working number in Tora Bora. If theres anything that demonstrates their customer service approach, look at the responses to these reviews. I can almost guarantee that if there is a response to this, it will begin, "Mateo, thank you for your feedback and bringing these concerns to our attention! It is our mission to make everyday a positive and satisfying experience for our customers..." Sure, Im pissed off about the bed. But if somebody would actually respond instead of running me through a maze of platitudinous bollocks and incompetent, apathetic drones, I wouldnt be half as angry as I am. If you love yourself and your family, for the love of all that is holy go somewhere else, before its too late.

I dont know where to begin because of such disappointment, we had great service in the store and buying experience on the black Friday sale where we ended up purchasing $6,000+ in furniture which was then supposed to be set to delivered on the 30th of January to our new home. All the plans of delivery had been discussed multiple times to assure on time delivery due to the simply fact that Im expecting a baby on the 20th of February. So needless to say I needed everything done and settled in our home so the baby can be brought home to a fully furnished and prepared home. As time approach we called over and over to assure on time delivery where we were told everything is okay and on time and then all of a suddon once its days prior, we are given the run around as to way our shipment would be late and that only part of our order would arrive and still that would be a few days late... so its now February 7th. I still have not received my full order and I am told I wont receive the rest of it until the 20th of February also when my baby is to be born and my pregnant fiance has been left calling and calling managers of the Ashley furniture and left crying on mutliple occasions about the whole situation, also where she is promised calls backs which she never gets. Aside from that my fiance was home to receive the order that was damaged and she had to refuse a large piece. I never would expect this after giving such a far ahead notice and multiple follow ups. Also from such a large company, which is why we chose Ashley Furniture, we figured they would be our one stop for everything and we wouldnt have any issues. Im extremely disappointed. We have had nothing but issues! My fiance is still dealing with this situation as she is forced to pled with employees over the phone about this whole case to try and get our delivery her before the baby does. I pray no one else ever has to follow through this!

I would give a zero, but you know I cant do that. Its realy a compound story that leads me to this review. First off, there located at an intersection where you have to make a U turn if your traveling East on Broad Street. And yes, there is a police officer who is making is quota there almost every day, according to Ashley Furniture, and myself, - who got a ticket. But realy, that didnt bother me, it was just a great introduction to this epic story. After taking some time to choose a sofa and love seat combination we liked, my 9 month pregnant wife and 5 year old waited over 2 hours to "check out" Honestly, I was OK, not very disturbed at this point. But I thought, "Wow they must have better way to do this" Fast forward 3 weeks, we get the living room set and theres a big problem. Our love seat doesnt have the glider option, that we thought was ordered. It turns out the salesman ordered one without the glider mode. I attempted to call Ashley furniture on Broad Street in Richmond, and was greentred by a very rude receptionist who told me my particular salesman was in a meeting. After multiple call back, finally it was disclosed that he was not working that day! Later I made contact with the Manger "Kim M." , who could knotting but tell me I would have to pay the additional 200.00 for the correct piece. Well, after all that Im pretty sure Ashley Furniture should have stood up for their very bad mistake and sacked up that 200.00 to get us the product we ordered. Seriously, we have a new born that we just wanted to "rock" in this new love seat, but after all the time and ridiculous customer service, we cant do that. So if you want something specific, dont go to Ashley because they might order the wrong product and then make you pay for any difference in price. Thats just bad.
