This use to be a decent store. Ive ordered from them a couple of times and loved my experience, but this last time was very unacceptable for a business. You would think being a repeated customer there would be some sort of better way to retain the customer. I ordered furniture at the at the end of May and paid in full beginning of June. I asked if it would be here in time by the end of June to be delivered and was told yes. The end of June came there was still no furniture. Went there the weekend of 4th of July to see where exactly the furniture was. Some lady told me it got delayed because of the holiday and it was on the "truck" on its way. 2 weeks past by, still no furniture. I call to get an update and was told that I would get a call back. Never got a call back so I went by there the next day and spoke with the guy who I made the sale with. I asked him where the furniture was he told me it was on the "truck" and should be here any day now. I said ok and waited another 2 weeks, still no furniture. By now its the last week of July/Beginning of August and still no furniture, so I go back there and speak with a different lady to get an update for my furniture. She tells me that the company had a lay off and thats why it was taking so long, but assured me the furniture was on the "truck" on its way. She even showed me something on an iPad that suppose to track the deliveries. Idk what I was looking at, but I know by this point I was upset because my furniture is on some mysterious truck on its way, but never seemed to actually be on the way. I waited 2 more weeks and went back by there again. Spoke with the sales guy. Asked where the furniture was. He told me it was on the "truck" and on its way & should be here any day now. By this time Im just done with the furniture and asked if I could have my money back if I had to come back there to check on the furniture. He of course said yes. The next week I finally got a call saying my furniture was here. When the furniture was delivered it got damaged and was told I would be contacted to have someone come out and fix it...that was 2 weeks ago. Im not holding my breath for this...Try to support local businesses and this is what happens. I will NEVER spend another dime or step foot at this store again. If you order from here, just be extremely cautious.

I went in to purchase a living room set. The initial salesman was very nice, professional, and helpful. He quoted me a reasonable price and stated to just let him know when I made a decision and he would help me out. I shopped around and found the set about $100 cheaper somewhere else in the area. I went back into the store and the initial salesman was not there; instead a young lady. I told her the situation, that I had found a better deal, but based on the good experience I had with the other salesman, I came back to give them a chance to beat or match it. She stated "it cant be the same set for that price" (which I had the other offer in writing) and "if you can find it cheaper, go purchase it somewhere else." So that is exactly what I did. I like to give small, local stores my business but with this type of arrogant customer service, I certainly would not recommend this store to anyone.

I ordered a Mattress and box spring from Decor. The workers brought it into my apartment set it down ( did not even unwrap the plastic and left). Later, I found out that the box spring was torn, So I called to speak with the manager. They told me they would not be able to deliver another until the week after. The second time they arrived they brought the wrong box spring and there was another hole in it and the movers showed up 4 hours late and they would not be able to deliver the correct one for another week. I called Decor and had to speak to several people before being able to discuss this situation with the manager. I also ordered a couch from them ( which I regret) I do not know how long its gonna take to get here this is week four. I am less then impressed with Decor and will NEVER order or RECOMMEND them to anyone else.

I have purchased my entire rec room from Decor Furniture. I was looking specifically for a queen sleep sofa with a matching full size sofa with reclining sides in LEATHER. This may sound simple but it is not, most mfg. do not have both of these options in leather. Not only did Decor find the furniture but they also suggested the color that would suit the decor along with accessories. I have found this store to be extremely knowledgable in whats available in the market while keeping quality at the forefont in dealing with the customers budget. They have great furniture for the price! and the service is apparent that the customer is their biggest asset. I LOVE my furniture!

DECOR HAS A GREAT selection and a very customer-service oriented staff! I have been there many times over the past year looking to furnish my home, and have always found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of furniture and accessories too! I have purchased many items from them and have never had a problem with it taking longer than it should to come in. When the delivery guys delivered my furniture, they would come in and set it up, making sure nothing was wrong with it and that I was happy with my purchase, before leaving. I will definitely continue to shop there in the future!!

I have to say shopping at Decor Furniture has been one of my most educational shopping experiences. Walking through the stores entrance did not foreshadow the time I would share with employees. Although I found everything on my home refurnishing list, I still had questions. Mainly, "Is this really what I want?" The people of Decor answered me loud and clear. They educated me in room arranging, placement, visual textures... even some feng shi cause I was asking. I mean WOW!!! I had to go back three times for answers.... and they still helped me with a smile!!! I love them like good friends I dont see often.

I am new to Richmond and needed an entire house of furniture and quick! Not only did I need every room furnished, but at an affordable price since I am a broke college student! I just googled Furniture Stores in Richmond and Decor showed up. I went in and was greeted by a very kind and charming young man who did not bombard or rush me, which I have experienced in the past. I found everything I needed including a few rugs and lamps. My house is absolutely beautiful! I also had everything in my place within two weeks, with money to spare! I am a very appreciative of Decor Furniture!!

In the last few years I have bought a number of items from Decor and I was/am very pleased with the quality of the furniture . I had a problem with a recliner being delivered with the wrong color, which ended up not being the stores fault. The owner contacted me and within the same week let me keep a floor model of the same recliner until my original came in. They are very fair with their prices and I have always been very happy with the customer service Decor has provided. Decor will be the first store I shop at when I am in need of something new for my home.
