Had 1 tire mounted and balance. As they created the original work order, they told me the price was $65 and I signed the work order. They performed the work and just as they swiped my credit card, I noticed the pricing sign located behind the service desk stating that mounting and balancing a loose wheel is $35. I brought it to their attention and immediately the tech said the correct price is $35 and that I would need to be refunded for the difference. The guys from the service department did not have the ability to do the refund and that I would have to go to the parts department. I walked over to the parts department with the guy from the service department and tried to explain to the guy at the parts department that I have been overcharged. He kept on saying that the price was at least $60 and that he wasnt going to refund the money. He said the price has always been $60 and "if push came to shove," I signed the original work order of $65. I had to get another guy from the service department tell him the price was $35 and that I needed to be refunded. After he heard it from the other guy, he agreed to refund it, but only after he made sure I signed the orignal bill, as if I wasnt going to pay them. They then refunded me $30, but failed to credit me the $1.80 that I paid in extra taxes. I really dont feel like I was treated like a paying customer should be treated. I will not be returning. I was a loyal customer. I actually drove from my home 1 hour away to come there. I could have easily gone to many closer shops, but specifically went to them because Ive been going there since I bought my bike. Also, for those of you who might have dealt with the parts guy that I dealt with, you may have been overcharged for mounting and balancing tires as he stated, "Ive been overcharging people." They really should get their act together.

Took my bike here to get the MD inspection done when I moved to the state. There were numerous things "wrong" with the bike that werent wrong when I went in there. Little things like the rear brake light not hooked up to bigger things like a sticking throttle and leaky fork seals. The sticking throttle really stood out to me because I had well over 20K miles and I have NEVER had any issue with my throttle sticking. They claimed it was my aftermarket grips I had, which had been on for more than 5 years and were never an issue before. Altogether they wanted over $800 to "fix" all of these issues. I naturally said no because I could tell they were trying to swindle me. When I started riding home from their shop, wouldnt you know, my throttle all of sudden was now sticking. After over a year of dealing with this sticking throttle (Ive only ridden it about 600 miles since then; new kid) I took it to another shop to have them look at it. This other shop said my throttle cables were frayed and they could tell someone had been messing with the throttle bodies as the butterflies werent snapping back on their own like they should have. Now, do I know for sure that Ellicott City Motor Sports purposely did any of this? No, I dont have any hard evidence of it. But, I do find it suspicious that in the 7 years before they saw the bike, 90% of what they said needed to be fixed, was working perfectly before the trip to their shop. I wont ever step foot in that service department again, and I hope this review helps deter others from doing the same. They may do decent work (I wouldnt know,) but it seems to me they can be dishonest if they think they can take advantage of someone. Avoid!

VERY POOR SERVICE. Took bike for A noise in the front tires. After diognostics they told me they had to clean adn adjust the calibers. Okay old bike makes sense. Problam came when I picked up the bike. No thorttel responce from bike. Service rep told me they could not work on a Honda so I would have to limp home the bike or limp it to another service center who can work on a Honda. I was so mad I did just that. 8 miles later and no more than 15 MPH down hill. After calming down I called the service manager and after going over issues he tried to make it right. Picked up the bike and fixed and returned to me. I asked him if I owned any mor money for the service. Was told no because of the inconvience. Was very happy that they tried to correct their mistake that was why I would of gone back. (we all make mistakes and as long as you make it right alls good) The next day I got a call from service department that I owed $98 for the diognostic work. Unbeliveable.. Just found out they put the float upside down on the carb and had to pay $185 to fix elsewhere. Would never recomend them. PS THE NOISE IS BACK AFTER LESS THAN A WEEK.

Awesome Dealer!!! Five Stars!!! I have bought many motorcycles from these guys and they are great! They are very knowledgable, courteous and are always willing to go out on a limb for you. These guys live, eat and breath motorcycles and many still race them too. Its not to often you find a business with such knowledge and enthusiasm coupled with such a huge array of bike and accessories to fit just about all your motorcycling needs. I totally disagree with the the "Last Minute Shop" post. That would not happen at that shop....the owner would never allow it. I would bet my life on it! Mike Johnston the sales manager and Jeff the parts manager do a great job of geting the job done no matter what I need professionaly, fairly and speedily. Lastly, they charge a fair price for everything thats why they are still in business and the "cheap disount dealers are GONE!" People.... businesses have to charge money to stay in business to help you! Keep up the great work Ellicott City Motorsports, Ill be back!!!

If you do not have time to order your parts online, they might have it, but I would recommend stopping by instead of calling because they dont really check well over the phone. I bought an used bike from them and the experience was okay, they didnt give me any discounts and the bike was filty when I picked it up. The service department is a joke! I would not recommend anybody to take their bikes there, they will always charge as much as they can!! I took my bike there to simply replace a front tire and the tire leaks ever since... I also took my KTM to them for an oil change and to fix a leak. Well, the bike still leaks oil!!! They pretty much didnt fix anything, but CHARGED me for it!!

Ed in sales was super-attentive and careful during a new motorcycle transaction. I was given a nice discount on a new 2015 model, and Ed caught a paperwork mistake where they had mistakenly put a 2014 model on the floor and labeled it a 2015. He made sure the 2015 bike was what I got and kept me in the loop at all times. After the purchase, I decided I wanted to upgrade my exhaust and he arranged to take back the slipon I had purchased with the bike. First service was handled within a day and the service dept was also excellent at communicating with me. Parts dept sent me an email when my exhaust arrived and offered to carry it over to service to be installed without being asked.
