The process of setting up an appointment and brining our vehicle in was pretty smooth. Once we arrived we were escorted to the receptionist office to discuss our visit to the service center. We made an appointment for our Jaguar XJ because the brake light came on and we purchased the Presential service. Once we were in the office, the receptionist began reading off a list of things that would be done today; Im assuming these items are included in my previously purchased serivce, thats what I made the appointment for...it was not. What she was reading off to me was my cars 60K preventive maintence serivice, which she said would cost $1200. Now, I asked her to remind me what services came with my prepaid package; which she did and I was able to understand the confusion. I say all of this to say, I hate surprises. I feel that she should have taken care of the reason why I made the appointment in the first place, then ask if I was interested in hearing about the preventive maintence service. Its a slick sales pitch to confuse the customer and have them believe that they have to get this service...which they dont. After discussing it with my wife, we did get the service and it was done in a timely manner. We were provided a free rental car (Jaguar XJ) which was a nice touch. But since our car has come back, it seem to shake and the performance has dropped a bit. I dont know why, but it rattles while in park and the eccelration seems to lag.

I went "browsing" yesterday at JC Jaguar and was immediately greeted by Martin. He patiently came outside and waited by the entrance door - to let us know he was available but he was not "all over us", which was nice. He introduced himself and asked how he could help us. We told him we were JUST LOOKING and wanted to test drive so we could decide which car we MAY buy in the future. He asked a few questions to get an idea of what we wanted and without hesitation, grabbed a few keys and began to show us the features of cars (pre-owned and new). On the test drive he was amazing - really wanted me to "open up the car and experience it". We returned to the dealership to get an idea of what was on the lot and were further helped by Steve, the GM, who direct and considerate. Fast forward ... we were shown a gorgeous model to "just see" and drive since it had what we wanted. Next thing, we were still "seeing" if we could get the numbers to where we were comfortable. At no point did anyone push/rush us and they always acknowledged we were in control of the deal (as much as a customer can be :) ... The finance person, Nick, was also amazing. Both he and Steve worked together to get us to a comfortable payment. Our "just looking" became a congratulations on your new car! We were treated with respect and courtesy and were afforded the excellent customer service you expect at this price point. Thank you Martin, Steve, and Nick!

This dealership may offer a good price on their vehicles compared to other dealerships in the area but that price comes at a massive cost. My wife purchased a 2017 XF this past year and when it came to warranty service for a simple repair, this dealership made her come back twice and still could not fix the issue and asked her to come back a third. As a result of poor warranty service and lack of customer service, we have chosen to take our 2017 XF to Jaguar Hunt Valley for service at the expense of losing the hit-or-miss loaner program with Columbia. By the way, the loaner program at Jaguar Columbia consisted of giving my wife a Minivan while her 2017 XF was in for warranty repair - under the excuse that all of their Jaguar loaners were damaged... We would of gone with another dealership for business as this dealership, for service and repairs, is highly lacking in quality control and customer satisfaction. Avoid this dealership at all costs and do NOT get suckered in by the purchase price as you will pay for it in the long run on the warranty service and lack of adequate loaner program.

As luxury dealer, their service is sub-human. First, the used car salesmen are REALLY pushy and they try selling cars by telling you they need to meet some quota for a month, and not by way of quality. Second, their service supervisor is a class A (fill-in the blank). My car had obvious problems right after purchase and they essentially told me to kick rocks. I had to threaten a lawsuit to get the repair done! Third, it took 5 months to get my payback difference back as well as a valid "We owe" refund for damage to the vehicle which they did not repair and I was forced to do myself. The kicker was they "didnt have record" of owing me anything, so the burden was on me and I had to produce all the paper work as proof again. Being frustrating and just a bad overall experience, never again with Jim Coleman...Their prices are good, but you will pay the difference in the lack of anything that looks like quality service which can count up significantly in years off your life in stress. Horrible horrible experiences.

Generally speaking, car buying can be a tough proposition. I contacted Jim Coleman Land Rover Jaguar and was very surprised that the Salesperson who I spoke with on the phone ( George Devine), was courteous, answered my questions and then asked me if he had done a good job ! "Excellent", I said. He then invited me in for a test drive. When I got to the dealership, he was there waiting for me at the prescribed time and available to assist me. We located the vehicle I wanted and negotiated a great deal (I had shopped 3 other dealers, but didnt mention it to him.). I financed the vehicle through the dealer and Rajni, my finance lady, was just wonderful. She explained everything to me and I could not be happier. Thank you to everyone at Jim Coleman, Ill be back to trade in a couple of years.

Jim Coleman Land Rover & Jaguar is a rip off. I took my Range Rover in for an oil change and they broke my oil filter housing. But they didnt fix it instead they used a twist tie to reattach it to the frame?? I found out because I took it to another dealer a few days later for an air suspension issue and they told me it was broken. When I called Jim Coleman back they told me they saw it was broken and did me a favor by tying it to the frame instead of telling me it was broken !!! Duh, you are a car repair facility, thats how you make money but instead you wanted to do me a favor, right !! Total idiots over there and unprofessional and on top of that liars. They had So many bad Land Rover reviews that they took down the Land Rover listing and just kept Jaguar. Jaguar owners speak up !!!!

I purchased my very first Jaguar in March. My buying experience with Chris Smith and Steve Kenly was very professional and stress-free. My sales guide Will’s knowledge of the Jaguar XF was very informative and he helped me set up my phone and other customized items in the car, like the seat position and steering wheel position. Another sales guide Mike informed me about Jaguar’s free roadside assistance and I saved money by cancelling my AAA membership. My budget loved that! I LOVE driving my Jaguar XF every day; the car is quite good looking especially my color - sapphire blue, and I do notice a lot of people looking at it. I am very happy with this car! My experience with Jaguar Land Rover West Columbia was a pleasant one and I will continue to deal with them in the future.
