Sad, but going downhill. I have ordered the chocolate mousse cake every year for the past 13+ years. I ordered a birthday cake for this weekend as I have every August and September for my kids birthdays. I also bought strawberry and pistachio leaf cookies. I tasted the cookies and the strawberry cookies tasted bad like they had sat around in the heat for a while and collected moisture. My son was with me and tasted them as well. I asked how old the cookies were and she said she had just put them out a day or two ago. I told her they tasted they bad. She gave me some story about the heat and having to leave the door open. I asked if I could return the strawberry cookies that they tasted bad. She went back and talked to the pastry chef and he/she said no because we had touched them. I said they taste really bad!!! So, I said never mind they didnt need my money for the cake and I wanted to cancel the order and wanted a refund. Incredible!!! She returned my $41 instead of refunding me $3 for cookies. Not only did they lose that cake sale but I typically order 5 chocolate mousse cakes during the months of August to October. Glad to see this bakery is doing well enough to turn away business in this economy.

Fantastic pastry shop, if only we had more local business like this in the area! From the second you walk in the pastry shop, your senses are overloaded. The displays with various deserts - cakes, pies, strudels, truffles, cupcakes, etc - are visually enticing, and the smell emanating from the back are just as intoxicating. You can call ahead, or just order one or two truffles upon arrival and be on your way. They do cakes for events if ordered in advance. I love this local business and recommend your support - you wont be disappointed!

Highly Recommended Pastry Shop, the Customer Service is Polite and very helpful. There has never been a time, where i have been disappointed. Chocolate cake with Raspberry Mousse is out of this world. Its a must try!!

While aged, its pretty well kept and has solid anchor stores, Belk, JC Penny, Bed Bath Beyond, GNC, Outback steakhouse, Cheese Burger in Paradise and complimented by ~10 other stores or restaurants.
