Bypass this store at all costs. Because of this experience I will be filing a complaint with corporate. Note, many of the 5 star reviews are done by emloyees or former employees of this store. The service at this store leaves a lot to be desired. In actuality, it is sub-par. I have been a Walmart Family mobile cutomer since April 2012. I have paid my bill, in person, at many locales up and down the East coast. Two days ago I specifically drove to this walmart for the purpose of making a payment with çash. I stood in line for 10 mins with two children under 7,( one of which is autistic and has difficulty with waiting in long lines). When I got to the counter the woman there had an obvious attitude and was very unfriendly. I told her I wanted to make a payment for my walmart family mobile account and that I could read off the account number to her (as is standard everywhere I have made prevoius payments). She abruptly stated that she had to see my paper bill or text notice from my phone. When I questioned her insistence and explained her I was new to the area so she needed to explain this to me . She abruptly stated "I have to see when the bill is due because we dont take past due payments . " Being that my bill was two days past the due date and I have NEVER had this issue anywhere else in the country, I questioned this policy. This crude woman states "I dont know what stores you have been going to but WE dont take past due payments" and pointed to a sheet of paper managment had unprofessionlly taped over the ACTUAL walmart policy board behind her. I then proceeded directly to the managment office and first questioned the Asst. Manager, who immediate went to speak to the manager Carlyle Worell. While I waited an employee attempted to tell me that it is a loss to the store if the receiving merchant rejects the payment. What?! Complete assinine scripted bull. When the asst manger returned he told me the would make an "exception" for me but "FROM NOW ON I NEEDed TO PAY MY BILLS EARLY OR ON TIME". I told them they could keep their exception because the policy is nonsensical and that I would be filing a corporate complaint post haste. Stores are REQUIRED to operate under their corporate policy not their personal feelings or what they arbitrarily would like to do or not do. Even if I was completely delinquent and my phone was disconnected, their corpoate policy states they take the payments. I sure hope their minuscule power kick serves them well when I finish with corporate and filing with the CEO. This store does not represent the Walmart spirit in the least bit. All customers should be treated equally and with respect no matter how poor or rich; no matter the circumstances they may be going through.

I have been a Wal-Mart Customer since 1987 (Sams Warehouse in Texas). However, this is by far the worst Wal-Mart Ive ever seen. Beginning with last Christmas. One of the employees was high and wreaked of marijuana. Fast forward to 2016. The store is crowded with employees walking around and very few on registers. I located the manager who was walking around looking lost and sad. He seemed to be partial talking to female employees. The employees (mainly males) are constantly using vulgar language. I put my items back, left the store, and called your so called corporate office. The young lady on the phone was no help as no one responded. I would challenge a general manager, etcetera to pay an unexpected visit to this store. Ive encountered dirty floors, vulgar music in the back during what I suspect was a barbeque for employees on July 4th. Im disappointed in Wal-Mart and have recently gotten a Target credit card. Btw, I stopped by that Wal-Mart one evening and the Asst Manager (Nike was her name, I believe; she was Nigerian) was in charge. I noticed a difference as everyone was working; no lines. I briefly stopped to thank her for a great job. The setting was definitely indicative of the quality of management or lack there of...

Its disappointing to know that I ordered prepaid photos and wasnt able to pick them up not once but twice. The first attempt to pick up my photos I waited in line for 1 hour because photo pick up is in the same location as online orders. All that wait for the employee to tell me they couldnt find the envelop containing my photos. Then yesterday just about 4 days later I get a phone call saying that they found my pictures. So I decided to stop by 715am before going to work and was told that I needed to come back after 9am. Went to customer service in hopes that they could have sent an employee to reach in the photo drawer, look for my name and give me the photos I have already paid for and customer service statement "sorry thats different section I cant help you". At this point I had to wait 5 days for 1hour same day pickup photos and have not been able to get what I paid for. Neededless to say that its not worth dealing with this kind of frustration and will be writting it as a loss. Im just going to get them remade at my local pharmacy frustration free especially since these were going to be used for a matted collage as part as grandmas christmas gift.

I went to the store during remodeling, one of the gentlemen told me that they didnt have to do the remodeling, someone else was doing it. This comes into play in a moment. I bought some food and drove home. I started unbagging and realised that my turkey meat was not in any of the bags. I tried calling the store, it rang for five minutes and then someone answered, laughed and then hung up. I called back again, ai was on the phone for 18 minutes, all while driving back to the damn store, and not one person answered until I walked in the door. 18 minutes? When I walked in, 2 associates were walking away from the customer service counter, the lady on the phone behind the counter was on the phone with me and about 5 other people were standing around the cust counter registers just having a good ole time. I am amanager in retail and would be damned if my associates acted like that. I wasted more mone, and time, just driving there, than the cost of the turkey! I will be sure to keep coming back and giving one star til your score is below a 2.5

I discovered this Walmart while working in the Bowie/Crofton area and decided to give it a try. As a Montgomery County resident, I was alarmingly culture shocked; however, aside from the different environment, the service was disgustingly unprofessional. Employees lack professionalism on every level. When it came time to check out, I saw there was a hole in the pack of paper towels I was going to buy so I asked the associate if I could go and pick up another one and she gave me a hard time about attempting to put back a defective item that should not have been on the shelf to begin with! When I went back to grab another one, majority of the paper towels had holes in them! This encounter really frustrated me, as I have never experienced issues with wanting to purchase unopened items. I then went to the front end supervisor on duty by the name of Raven, and she made matters worse! She too was extremely unprofessional. I will do everything in my power to not revisit this ghetto Walmart!!
