These guys could not possibly be more helpful. Super smart and knowledgeable staff who obviously care a great deal. Ive been in to buy as little as two screws, and they very graciously put my license plates on my vehicle as well. But when I was overwhelmed with a problem very new to me, though apparently more common here in Baltimore, bedbugs -shudder shudder, they were were a comfort and related all they knew on the subject. Plus the store, as small as it is, has an arsenal of products with which to tackle the problem. I dont know that they are more expensive but I would have paid double the price for the convenience and consideration.

Belle is absolutely the best and most convenient old fashioned family owned hardware store and it is a valued part of our community in Bolton Hill. People, its not meant to compete with Home Depot. This is the place to come if you want to pick up or order something with no hassle and knowledgeable service. Bring your dog in if you walk over, they have free biscuits. And they also accept UPS packages if you arent home during the day so they wont get stolen off your stoop!

Small, family owned businesses are becoming more scarce in every community. This store features a wide variety of hardware needs and the customer service is unparalleled. Example: once I was shopping for snow shovels. The owner went out of her way to make sure the particular snow shovel I ultimately bought was the right one for my particular needs and at low price point. I couldnt recommend Belle Hardware more!

This is my go to for plumbing and other solutions for older houses. This is a pure hardware store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can go in to find parts for 50 to 100 year old plumbing and they wont look at you like your from Mars. Im generally in and out of here in minutes with what I need in hand. Its a small shop, so dont expect large items like lumber or appliances.

You cant really beat the customer service at this hardware store. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need or give you advice on your projects. The store has a great selection, especially considering the small space. Its definitely worth making the effort to go here instead of one of the big chain hardware stores.

I have been shopping here for over 20 years. The staff and service are wonderful and the convenience cant be beat. Its a small store, so they cant stock a lot of big stuff - but you can order large amounts on the web, & theyll let you know when your order comes in.
