This might not sound like a big deal, but it’s a matter of principle. I rented a lawn mower from the small rental portion of ace hardware three doors down. I thought about just returning it when I was done, but knew I should do the right thing, and return it full of gas. I walked down to the local gas station, filled a gas can, and topped it off before I returned it. When I was getting my deposit back, I noticed there was a few dollar charge for gas. I explained what I had done and asked them to refund the charge. They refused and said that’s just the way it is. They guy I rented it from was there, and didn’t own up to not telling me there was a charge for gas. The woman told me they do that with everyone, and that they have to put gas in it because the fire marshal doesn’t want them storing it like that. First of all, when I rented the mower, IT WAS INSIDE AND THREE QUARTERS FULL OF GAS. Secondly, I heard her tell another customer that was renting a mower that it was THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT GAS IN IT. So, I did the right thing, and they did not. I don’t need to tell you what to do.

Brought two smaller sized screens in to be redone, first, there NEW, they want to re-use the splines cause these are brand new windows/screens.(Bad Grandchildren) No problem, that was on the 10/14/16, said they would be ready on the 19th or 20th, Id get a call. Well no call and todays 10/25/16, and they havent been touched, maybe Friday the 28th cause they have a truck tomorrow(Wednesday)?? also the cost to reuse my stuff and replace the screen $23.97

Has pretty much everything you need and at better prices than Taylors. Staff is helpful. Retail space is a little cramped. Theres a separate Ace storefront in the same shopping center that handles equipment rentals and repair.
