I have never experienced such incompetent customer service, both in person and over the phone, as I have at this Home Depot location. Unfortunately, I ordered over $16,000 in windows/doors from it, so I am stuck dealing with its staff for the time being. I should have known from my initial interactions with the customer service representatives that the experience would be horrible - but I failed to trust my instincts. A few thoughts: (1) Employees at the store rarely answer the telephone, and when I have attempted to contact a particular department (in this case, millwork/windows/doors), I am frequently left on hold indefinitely and forced to hang up. In fact, this morning I was forced to call the corporate office (who in turn contacted the store) to find out the status of my order. (2) There is little follow-up. I ordered windows and doors almost 6 weeks ago (the lead time was 4-6 weeks). After my partner and I contacted Home Depot several times, we were assured that we would receive a call when our windows were being delivered so we could arrange for appropriate delivery. We never received a call, so I called this morning (to the store, and then to corporate when I couldnt get through) only to find that the order had been completed days ago. As a result, construction has been delayed and we are forced to deal with more inclement weather without windows/doors. (3) The ordering process was painful - so painful, that I attempted to switch orders to another store, but was prevented from doing so by the employees who could not keep track of the then current work order (and transfer it). Every time I visited the store, I was unsure of which service representative I would be "welcomed" by. On several occasions, we dealt with new representatives who were not familiar with our order. I will be shocked if the order is complete and/or correct, and despite the fact that we have a lot more to buy for the house, I can assure management that I will not be doing it at this location (and probably not Home Depot at all).

I gave them two and not one star because I only dealt with them on the phone and I am aware that that makes me unable to really give a fair review. Im looking for a soda blaster, to be fair its not a very commonly used tool so I understood it was going to be rough, but all the other hardware stores I called were friendly and apologetic that they wouldnt be able to help me. I finally gave up on calling stores near me and looked up home depots number. I called the one in parkville and the rude woman who answered said they didnt carry them. I asked if she knew anyone who might and she said the Towson store (by which I assume she meant the Timonium store.) I asked if she had their number. She sighed and gave me a number then stopped me and gave me a second one. The second one patched me through to the cellphone inbox of a woman claiming to be named elaine. I tried the first one she gave me which was non-working. I looked up the number online and it was entirely different from both. I called the timonium store and the man who answered there had no idea what I was talking about nor could he seem to understand me. He passed the phone off to another man who could understand me but had no idea what a soda blaster was. I explained to him that it was like a sand blaster but used baking soda instead of sand. He assured me they did not carry such a thing and hung up. I was less than pleased

I came in at 6:45 am looking for some killz and the mold inhibitor bottles that they sell as add ins. I couldnt find the little bottles so I asked the paint desk pro who said he had been here a long time if they sold mildew treatments add ins for paint and he told me no. So I asked if they sold little green bottles that say M-1 and he said oh yes we do. So I ask him if he can mix it in to my 5 gallon buckets of paint that I am purchasing and he tells me they dont do that. So I ask "you cant just pour it in and put the five gallon bucket in the shaker so I dont have to stir by hand?" And he says "No we dont do that" but at every other Home Depot they have done it for me. Other than that the store is very organized and the rest of the pros are very friendly. I would not recommend buying paint from this Home Depot when the older gentleman is at the paint desk. I also couldnt get his name because when I turned around to move the cart he was gone. I had to chase him down the first time to get help

First I went to the customer service desk and stood in front of the available employee to be helped but was ignored for a few minutes. Finally she asked, "can I help you." I just wanted to know where to go to rent a van. She directed me to the right place. Then when trying to rent a van I was ignore multiple times because the employees were having a conversation. Then I got into the van I rented to see that the gas was 3/4 full and the tire pressure light was on. I didnt think it was worth it to go back in and say something. After returning the van back I was asked if I topped it off with gas. I told the attendant that I wasnt told to put gas into the vehicle. I figured since it wasnt full on gas in the first place and they rented it to me in that condition then I shouldnt pay for extra gas i didnt use. I had a bad experience here.

I just left this location and the worst experience ever. I purchased three toilets for my home and the representatives were horribly rude.. 1st The guy wouldnt even come over to where I was . He was pretending to help from almost 20 feet away as I was standing at the Koehler toilets trying to get him to explain how I could have them delivered and installed.. It sounded like he was trying to talk me out of adding the install (as if I had plumbing experience ) telling me to turn off my water and hook it up !!! I went to Home Depot to get help with their install service !! I purchased the three toilets and asked the cashier to call for assistance with loading them on the truck and...NO ONE CAME !! I shouldve just returned everything I bought and went to Loews! !! Horrible Customer Service Representative !!!

Home Depot ripped me off on my kitchen, they mismeasured, designed my kitchen where cabinets went into my window. Home depot took 6 months to comlete my project which still had many issues including holes from mis drilled cabinet hinges, holes in my walls, damaged sheet rock, and many more. I spent 15k on my kitchen and from start to end nobody knew how to do there job. It took 6 months for my project and they expect me to pay almost full price. DONT USE HOME DEPOT FOR ANY HOME SERVICES OR YOU WILL BE SORRY. Worse than the store manager JOHN GARST who wont even return my calls or answer his phone is the customer service number . BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY
