This location is horrible I was shopping there with my wife had something in the cart that she thought i wanted and i thought she wanted but in reality we both did not want. So long story short she checks out we did not get 5 feet from leaving the register and i asked what is this for. She says i do not know i thought you were buying this and i said no way i did not want this at all. I then went to the same register to get a refund and they refused it. I mean i can understand if i left the store or something like that but they just pretty much took me for my money they could have refunded me. I am not upset it was only $5.90 but still that is messed up when you get it for free. Another thing the prices are very high $5.00 and up for t-shirts are you kidding me i can get them new for that price without a company logo on them. I also think the store manager is corrupt seen her pulling in the employee parking lot in a brand new jaguar. Also their is a horrible crunching sound in the backroom yup!!! thats their crushing machine that completely destroys anything they can not sell for a high price. This operation is shady at the least but if you like to see how corrupt charity is now days you should definitely give this place a visit.

Great brands like Francescas, MKors, UA, Cabellas, etc. large selection of clothing and shoes... smaller housewares and home goods department. You can find a moderate amount of items that still have original tags. The staff is great; helpful and friendly. Miss Birdie who works there has the most positive energy and really heightens the stores atmosphere and brightens anybodys path she crosses.Shes a ball of joy. (2nd Ave is lucky to have her!!!!) If theres a deal going on that saves you money most of the cashiers and staff will let you know so you can take advantage. Great thriftscores every time I go.

I have been coming here for over 15 years and the prices are so high. U better off going to a regular department store I now go once in a blue moon. Prices are wayyyyyy to high to be thrift store for used items and if items dont have a price u have to wait about three days so item can be repriced. When managers price sometime for certain people I seen it... Sad smh I def go once in blue blue blue moon... Savers is the best on Joppa Rd... Smells good inside and item are reasonable price.

I love shopping at 2nd Ave! The amount and variety of selections surpass regular retail on any given day. The sections are well organized, clean and easy to scan through for that "certain something." I started in their store on Belvedere Ave in Baltimore City about 30 years ago when my babys clothes there cost about 45 cents before the sale. I still find great bargains under $10 for well made clothes and household items. I give thanks everyday for 2nd Ave Value Stores!

ive been coming here for 10 years and sadly the prices have driven me back to the department stores clearance racks, the prices are too high and the good stuff isnt as plenty as the past. The place does look good or better than it has but it cost so much. there is also a truck out front that takes donations, but they take them to the store to resell them. I wish there were more yard sales it makes it so much easier

I enjoy shopping here a lot and I would give them less stars if I didnt like shopping there so much. Sometimes their prices are outrageous for things that should not be that expensive and they are not a non-profit organisation. A friend took me shopping there one time and they charged his credit card $400 instead of 40 and they did not fix the mistake because he had already signed the receipt. Unacceptable.

I have been a loyal customer of this store for more than 20 years, and I absolutely love it. The prices are decent for the most part, and the selection is great. I have had some problems with a fellow customer, and with a couple of people who work for 2nd Ave., but I have no personal hard feelings toward any individual. I was simply frustrated, because I felt I was being treated unfairly.

Good deals. Found some nice outfits and shoes. When checking out told the cashier to take a dress off the bill and she took it out of the bag but never took it off the register so ended up paying for a dress I never got. A little upset about that and probably wont go back to that particular location. Inside and outside of store needed to be cleaned and organized better.

I LOVE this thrift store! Its one of my favorite spots to shop! I can always find treasures in there. It is very well organized and the staff is friendly too. One of the most organized thrift stores that Ive ever been in. And I looooovvvee when they have the discount color tags!! A discount on already discounted prices?! I mean seriously, whats not to love?!

Large shop with wide variety. Took one star off because toddler clothes are a nightmare to shop. They have size markers on the racks but sizes are always a jumbled mess. Sundays and Mondays they have 3 tag colors 50% off and 2 colors 33% off. Good deals to be found if you have patience and lots of time.

Fear not a Thrift Store. Very clean and professional. The clothing here is is nice, and sometimes brand new condition. The section of store with regular items is a treasure hunt where you will find great things. I shop here somewhat regularly for all kinds of stuff.

They dont even have phone numbers for local stores and they insist on u checking in ur bags and Im DISABLED and forgot it and I have important items so u are unable to inform store location and risk EMPLOYEES rooting through it

The store is getting better with organization but it is still difficult to find items because they are not in the right location. You can get good deals on 50% off days but some things are way over priced.

This is my most favorite thrift shop in the whole world...I go several times a month during sale days. I love the fact that the clothing is sized and hung - things are easy to find.

There are constant sales and everything is fairly accurate as far as sizes and placement goes! I have never had a bad experience with my purchases or staff or even customers

Nice place a variety of clothing. Sundays and Mondays are discount on certain color tags. Perks: Always will walk out with something Flaws: Can be pricey for a thrift store.

Love 2nd avenue stores. This one isnt as big as the ones in laurel or columbia but you can still find some great bargans. Parking can be a little difficult at times.
