Seriously, a used entertainment center...$199.00. Who gets all this money,? I mean these things were donated, right? Most of the things they sell here are priced at about ONLY 10 - 20% less than new. And when you donate, it gets even better. They go through your things and if one item is not up to their "standards", they tell you they wont take anything and that you should give it to the Salvation Army! Not to mention the ladies that work there...MISERABLE! Just dont show up 10 minutes before closing time...THEY SCREAM at you and say YOUVE GOT 2 MINUTES til we close and then they count down and lock the doors and turn the lights off on you!

There are times where some of the things are overpriced, however I have found some really awesome deals. As with other goodwills, salvation armies, thrift shops, etc. you have to look really hard. I got a brand new, nothing wrong with it, Jim Shore snowman for $5 and a HUGE set of Corelle Dishes (over 50 pieces) in PERFECT condition for $30. There are some items that I pass over, but you have to keep an open mind. And I have never had a problem with the people there- they have always been friendly to me and I go at least once every two weeks.

This is a nice little thrift store. Yes, some things are overpriced; however, there are great deals, if you wait for the $0.49 sales! They rotate stock, using colored tags. At the end of shelf life, all tags of that color are $0.49. I bought a gorgeous wool coat, suits, and many other items, just $0.49 each. At that price, you can pick up items for family and friends, with nothing to lose! The people who work at the Buckhorn Goodwill are FABULOUS!

I agree with the other reviewer! You can absolutely buy new cheaper in many instances. Little golden books for $20...come on - sell eBay, not local then. Other childrens books and stuffed animals almost unaffordable. Used shoes priced higher than new at Pay Less. I guess they are expecting their customers to foot the bill for the new building?

I think the people that work there are awesome! Always very pleasant to me! Some things are high priced and others are really well priced- just like any other thrift store. I think since the management situation changed maybe that has made it better!

Prices are INSANE. I could go to a store and buy brand new clothes for cheaper. I dont understand how they justify their prices. Go to Salvation Army instead.

I love second hand stores! But this one I never bother going to because they price things way to high! So much so I would rather buy it brand new!
