Had a horrific experience with this store with an allergen ingredient in prepared food NOT clearly labeled. Although the assistant manager Michael Fowler remained insistent that I was wrong, he called me a liar, he actually laughed at me and made fun of me by asking me sarcastic questions and this was all after he didnt even return my call until corporate made him and I was treated to a combative and rude call from a person lacking in any professional sense or training. He told me he would have Whole Foods allergy attorneys contact me. No apology. No offer to refund my money. No accountability. No nothing except a horrific experience piled onto the initial traumatic experience of realizing something you are allergic to is in your mouth, through no fault of your own AND through pretty diligent efforts to prevent such an incident! So, people should know that WF has attorneys standing by if you get sick and they will write you off and hand you over to their legal team immediately. I was shocked.

I would really like to give this experience a 10! From the beginning, Laine was so very helpful and professional. She worked with me to establish the menu and was flexible when I needed to add a few to the number. The food was ready at exactly the specified time and pick-up went very well. And the food... it was delicious, as I expected, but it was arranged beautifully, too. I had washed trays and dishes to transfer into, but did not use them for the meat and salads...they were lovely. All of my extended family (we numbered 25) raved about the food and the presentation. I highly recommend the pork tenderloin and the chicken marsala, as well as the spinach salad with blackberries and the caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. The portions were very generous and we enjoyed the leftovers. Thank you, Laine, and the entire catering staff for making this gathering truly memorable!

I always liked Whole Foods, until my most recent shopping experiences. Upon returning home and tying to use three different items, all of which were purchased well before the sell-by-date, it was discovered that beyond the "sealed for freshness" packaging the items were in fact spoiled. The spoiled items were: hummus, a pasture raised whole chicken and a can of green chilis. The hummus and green chilis were covered in fuzzy brown mold and the chicken absolutely reeked of sulfur. Whole Foods has failed to deliver the fresh and high quality products that they promise, and we as customers, paying the higher cost, deserve. Although never is a very long time, I will never shop at Whole Foods again. Beware of purchasing products from this establishment; it may require a number of return trips.

If you buy into the whole scam of paying quadruple the price for produce that is "organically" grown, then this is the place to unload your paycheck. That said... Whole Foods is a great place for hard to find gourmet items like wild mushrooms, unusual fruits and vegetables, exotic cheeses, and a great selection of hard to find meats and seafood items that you wont find in the standard Giant, Safeway, etc... Bottom line... If you have hard to find ingredients you need for those gourmet dishes youd like to prepare, Whole Foods is a good place to pick up those specific things. But unless money is no object, doing your everyday grocery shopping here for common food items is just a ridiculous waste of money.

I have shopped at Whole Foods Annapolis for the last six to seven years, and there have been many changes very recently that are, in my opinion, not great. I usually buy my supplements from this store, purchasing both the Whole Foods label supplements and other products. One of the other products was the enyme by Rainbow Light; Double-Strength All Zyme, but you no longer carry it. For me this particular product was far superior to any other enzyme I have ever tried, and I have tried quite a few including both the Rainbow Light Advanced Optima and Advanced System. I am also disappointed in the re-organization of Whole Body in Annapolis.

I have been to many whole foods and this probably ranks last or close to it. Generic, cafeteria-like atmosphere; staff who havent a clue about the food they are selling- dont bother asking them any questions; hot food bar that is a notch above Old Country Buffet- everything is incredibly overcooked; the juice bar is not organic and prices are outrageously high even for conventional foods.... When I travel I always look for Whole Foods and am never really disappointed. I wonder why our whole foods is so lame.

My company were avid lunch visitors for their lunch bar, tacos, sandwiches, etc. Recently theyve changed their setup in what seems like an annoying way to charge people more for less food. We used to be able to get a taco with chips and salsa for about $6 and now they give you 2 tiny tacos with no chips for $8.50. Its insane. Their sandwich selection is also terrible now. Definitely just lost a big lunch crowd from my company. Were fed up with the overpriced offering for less food.

This location has been slowly going down hill. Yesterday I purchased the 365 brand cranberry juice only to get it home and find it had expired 4 months ago. In the meat department the staff were less than attentive. Lately there have been issues with bare shelves and small things like bags for the grind your own coffee. Hopefully management will get this store back on track. Given the prices Whole Foods charges, I expect much better.

Margies husband is posting this. I came into your store with a long list of very specific items needed, and Im not a very patient shopper. I asked Nicole where a couple of items were, and then, a couple more. I think she noticed I was a little frustrated so she took my list, and completed my shopping in record time. If your store doesnt have a designated shopper program, maybe it should try it and have Nicole run the program.

A relatively small, very crowded and cramped store with narrow aisles. Not many items of one product carried because of limited shelf space. I travel 60 miles about once a month to stock up and usually some of our favorite items are sold out or no longer carried. Very disappointing. I am looking forward to the new store opening in mid 2009 at the Annapolis Towne Centre. 70,000 sq feet!

They used to great at their indoor kitchen food for tacos and burgers. Now they suck dont even have any veggie taco. Their new veggie burger is garbage. It taste, smell and look like a some meat burger. If they advertise as healthy grocery store then what is the point of selling this kind of burger? What happen to that whole foods that used to be awesome?

Love, love, love Whole Foods. I can shop without checking every label for suspect ingredients. I feel confident that I am buying whole natural foods. Only gets four stars because in the 15 years of going to WFs in many states, every store has the surliest cashiers on the planet.

I have no general complaints. The store is clean, nicely laid out, friendly and helpfull staff. The produce is top notch. I do have some personal issues, there is limited selection on a lot of items. There meats are hit or miss and the overall price is very high.

WARNING!! AVOID THE BUFFET!! Everything is overcooked and dry, meat or vegetable regardless, and I feel absolutely sick after eating there :( Aside from that, the rest of the store is as diverse yet offensively overpriced as any other Whole Foods location.
