Recently, my wife and I switched carriers from AT&T to Verizon. After doing a bit of research, I found out that Verizon has better overall coverage in the state than AT&T. We met up with a sales rep JT who was friendly, professional and really knowledgeable about Verizons products and services. We were able to transfer our existing numbers from our previous AT&T account to our new Verizon account with no issues. JT also gave us a rundown on the new iPhones, got the new devices set up, helped us set up our Verizon Account on-line and clearly explained all our pricing options regarding calls and data. This was definitely one of the best experiences Ive had with any cell phone carrier! My wife and I are happy that we made the switch to Verizon. Buyers beware, I upgraded my device, went through all of my paperwork and noticed tons of anomalies. First, they markup all devices over MSRP. For example, my iPhone was supposed to be 869.99, they charge 880. Second, they charge a $40 "setup" fee when charging you for the devices taxes. They do not make it clear anywhere. Third, they automatically add insurance to your Verizon account without asking. Save yourself the headache and just head to the corporate Verizon Wireless store across the street. They dont pull all of these shenanigans. Devices cost what they should. There is no "setup" charge for them to sign you up, and they dont secretly add insurance onto your accounts.

Salesman told us specifically that Verizon doesnt do cancellation fees anymore. Neglected to tell us that there are still cancellation fees for tablets. Tried calling multiple times - no one has the authority to help, and didnt follow up when they said they would. Called Verizon national customer service who barely offered any help. Now were locked into a contract that we cant get out of without paying through the nose, all because we were mislead. Bad experience. Better off dealing with another company, weve had multiple problems with Verizon before and found that all they do is give alot of corporate excuses as to why they cant help, but "value our business".

I had the worst and best afternoon here. My phone once was lost but is now found, and throughout the whole process I had the huge help of Sandy and Josh. Those two helped me figure out next steps when the phone was lost, and were very thorough in trying to get me the best deal for the situation. I ended up miraculously getting my phone back and they were super excited for me too! Literally 10/10 would recommend these humans for all your phone needs. Much helpful. Such efficient.

I had the best experience at Verizon that I have ever had. I was taken care of by Casey Dodge at the South Portland Mall Verizon. He was very patient answering all my questions and took the time to set up my beautiful new phone. Not on was he personable but professional as well. I would recommend this location to all my friends using Verizon wireless!

If there was a rating greater than five, I would give him a ten. His expertise and smooth delivery restored my confidence in Verizon. Josh is the face of Verizon and he is awesome!

Horrible experience. The rep wouldnt sell me a phone. He then stalked me through the mall calling and texting me. He accessed my account info without me physically in the store and without my permission. The manager didnt care and said have a nice day. I had to change my account password because the rep kept going into my account.
