Came in with my girlfriend the other day and worked with Mike. We upgraded my phone, my phone is great no issues their. I asked before the upgrade i needed everything transferred because i have pictures of my dad who passed away on my phone he said not a problem he said hell back it all up on Verizon cloud and when i get home connect to wifi and restore. Well i went home went to cloud and went to tool and none of my pictures or videos were backed up or my contacts and now i lost all my content because i sent my phone back to verizon. I should of asked for him to do it on his machine like he originally was but when i told him i didnt want anything but just the phone he said the the cloud was faster and his machine would take slower.

Wont make this too lengthy but in a nutshell they sold me a phone claiming I would get it for half price after trading in my old device. This was completely untrue and even though I believe it to be an honest mistake on the salesmans part he was extremely unhelpful and avoided every attempt I made to return the phone or get a proper reimbursement. Believe it or not the salesman is a manager at the store too! They caused me a lot of grief and my whole family has had bad experiences here at this location as well. This is not even a true Verizon store, they only sell Verizons product. BEWARE, I will never shop here again because they dont care about their customers but only their commissions

After three years of avoiding going in to a Verizon to buy a new phone, I was forced into it when mine died. I visited the Portland store in April, and had the pleasure of working with Josh (but Im sure anyone would have been great, because the whole store is extremely friendly). Josh is wonderful! He answered all my questions, somehow made the phone buying process fun and still stays in touch when anything goes wrong with my phone. I live on the other side of the country, and I would still prefer to work with this Verizon store than any other. Thank you Josh for all of your help with everything!

I called them for a specific phone which they said they had one of. So I drove over to buy the phone and after them trying to sell me a different phone then the one I asked for they finally tell me the one I called about is actually an open boxed phone. Then they tell me its ok they will give me a deal on it. They then quote me the full price which they said was actually $100 off. Umm no. Lie #2 and I didnt wait for #3. I left empty handed and will never be back.

I purchased a phone at this store 3 years ago and insurance with BrightStar after I had my previous cell phone stolen. I thought my insurance coverage would transfer over to my newest phone but it did not. THIS IS A SCAM! This store is not a Verizon Wireless store and has nothing to do with Verizon. It is a Cellular Sales company that will screw you out of every dollar they can get. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

On 4/2 I purchased a new iPhone 6s Plus. Jamie helped me and I was well taken care of and explained everything to me. My bill actually went down. On Sunday I was bit concerned about my email folders. I called at 10 am and Josh answered the phone and helped me even when they werent opened yet. I came into the store for assistance and Josh took care of my issue in minutes. Very happy customer ~ thank you for great service

Worst service Ive ever had hands down... the network was never there. There is like two areas that you can get 4G LTE.not to mention the calls that get dropped all the time and after I disconnected my service they told me they will refund me the money within 7 days its been 15 days now I called them they said they dont know when the check will be there thats just our return policy. Think about it before you go there

They will not help my grandfather get a new phone. They keep giving him the same defective sony brand phone. Every time his next phone breaks, they give him the same model and send him off. The people there do not seem to care. He has been having to deal with the same brand of phone over and over for a year now. Staff have uncreative solutions. Us cellular works fine for us I reccomend anything non verizon.

In town to watch son run the marathon and stopped here to have a few questions regarding our plan answered. Ben White was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. Made a couple of changes giving us more data, which "carried over", but in the end cost a little less per month. Just as we should have a check up once a year, so should your plan. You may be paying for something you no longer need. Thank you Ben.

Friendly staff. But dont try to pay for anything in cash money USD they wont take it. This is crazy to me. And dont try to go over seas and use your phone when you buy a international plan because it wont work, even when you go in the store and they tell you everything will work just fine. Trust me from experience it wont work. Other then that good provider for a phone company.

Was told that the insurance plan that I pay $10/month for would completely cover anything that happened to my phone. When the battery stopped holding a charge 2 months out of warranty I had to pay $150 to get a defective, refurbished replacement. Dont believe anything the scumbag employees tell you. They will lie through their teeth to get their commission.

My phone died literally 20 minutes before I showed up to the store. I walked in and was welcomed with an awesome staff of highly trained professionals. #VerizonKate helped me easily and seamlessly do the impossible. I went in with a broken Iphone and walked out with a perfectly new Moto z. Definitely would recommend their service to anyone.

Joey was super helpful both times I went to Verizon very confused about my phone and plan. When I was ready to upgrade he explained everything super thoroughly and put up with my phone color preference nonsense! Great atmosphere in the store and all the employees are knowledgeable and approachable. Thanks Joey and the Verizon team!!

Two workers here gave me erroneous information about a promotional price for my device when I changed accounts. Turns out the promotion did NOT transfer with the device, so now I have to call in each month for the next 18 months to get the promotion applied. Tech support has told me that the workers should have known this.

I had an extremely nice female consultant/advisor. Erica Leslie was not only extremely helpful but VERY knowledgeable! Plus she is VERY easy on the eyes!! I would suggest asking for Erica when in the Verizon store on Somerset Street in Portland. ME. She will set you up for all your electronic needs!!!
