Old fashioned! my ass!!.. old fashioned screwing is what it is! Cheap ingredients low butterfat content equals crappy ice cream did you know the average person has between 50 and 10000 taste buds per square inch on their tongue if you like this sludge I would say you have less than a hundred per square inch! Mount Desert Ice Cream is hands-down the best ice cream to be found in Portland.. unbelievable that this establishment would average 4.6 Stars that is a joke! I am beginning to question Googles integrity

THE COOKIE DOUGH IS JUST VANILLA! COMPLETE RIP OFF! Overpriced and plain with nothing in ice cream. 8 dollars for a frappe. Cost 12 dollars total for a kiddy scoop chocolate raspberry truffle and a cookie dough frappe. The "cookie dough" frappe had ZERO cookie dough pieces and the raspberry truffle had ZERO truffles. They were just chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I asked for a refund but was refused. Terrible customer service. Terrible ice cream.

Best ice cream place on veranda street!! They have all the old timey flavors that my old man heart desires, like grape nut and rum raisin! Theyre even cash only!!! Back in my day we didnt have any of these fancy credit-cards, so this makes me feel right at home. I give it three hearts and a smiling emojicon!

Great hard serve ice cream. Beals grape-nut ice cream won me over at an early age, and Ive been getting it for at least 20 years. Amazing stuff.

Way over priced for such small portions. Medium peanut butter sundae for $7.20 and is in a tiny cup. Worst deal you can find.
