I went here with my friends a couple weeks ago, and it left a pretty decent impression. I read a few reviews before actually going, but nevertheless, it didnt disappoint. :D When you enter this place, youre just surrounded by a really awesome atmosphere, scent-wise and feeling-wise as well. The people behind the counters were super duper nice, and they let you try as many samples as you liked. Not to mention, the generous amount of gelato they actually gave us. I had a medium gelato, because I didnt think a small would be enough, but surprisingly, it was a lot than I expected. However, I finished it all cuz it was so tastyyy. XD So I would prefer getting the small size, which will be enough for a regular amount of dessert. I had special hazelnut, which I LOVED, as well as sweet resurgam (the fiascos number one choice ) which was ALSO fantastic. The place even let us have as many flavors in one dish, and that was pretty freaking awesome.

We chose this shop based on a Vermont friends recommendation and were not diappointed! Delicious gelato, great atmosphere And no dietary reperssions for my gluten-intolerant man... Unexpected perks like a small viewing window to watch them making and mixing in the kitchen, locally roasted coffee beans for sale (God of Thunder - YUM!) And board games to use during your visit.

I LOVE Gelato Fiasco! I go there every time I drive up to Maine! (I drive up once a month at least!). Their Gelato is top of line, and made right in the room next to the serving room! The staff is always friendly, and always willing to help. You can try as many flavors before making a final decision. The prices are great and I always enjoy it when I go!

Great location in the old port, and easily the best gelato around. New and interesting flavors and all the classics. Good coffee too. If you can find a few friends to help you attempt eating THE 8 person Fiasco, a mountain of brownie, cookie, nuts, toppings and mounds of gelato!

Great gelato with numerous choices some changing with the seasons. Always cheerful service. Even in the smallest size, they give three choices. Serves my craving while out and about the town. If you are local become a red spoon fan and get a free one after every ten!

Good gelato, but WAY too busy. There really isnt a line system, you just pop your hand up and hope to be waited on. Definitely enjoyed the more unusual flavors, like black peppercorn vanilla, but was disappointed that my favorite flavor was sold out - stracciatella.

This place was wonderful. We started at the Gorgeous Gelato, but there was no air on in the place. The line was long and hot. We left and came across the street to the Gelato Fiasco. It was delicious, they line moved fast, and they had the air on!☺

I cannot begin to describe how good the gelato fiasco is. It tastes exactly what gelato is supposed to taste like. Flavors seem so real like you are eating a chocolate bar. I recommend this store over any ice cream store around.

Delicious! Love the Maine Milk and Cookies! With Chocolate Covered Pretzels coming in a strong second!! They let you sample as many flavors as you like until you find your favorite. You can also mix two flavors in one dish!!
