Loved the tiramisu and the "gorgeous" (chocolate, caramel, and vanilla) flavors. Depending on the timing there can be a line, which is understandable given its prime location. Next time Im back in Portland Id love to try their coffee, it smelled delicious but it was just too late at night for me. They gave me a run down on flavors which contained gluten, although for the extremely sensitive Id suggest caution because of the risk of cross contamination (they offer half flavors). Im moderately sensitive and had no reaction myself.

OMG SOOOO GOOD!!! The best restaurant in Maine. Its very authentic because the owner is from Italy so he knows how to make good gelato. Dont listen to some reviews on here. There is another gelato restaurant across the street from Gergeous Gelato whos leaving bad reviews on here so they can get business. Dont listen to them.

Gorgeous Gelato has some amazing Gelato in the touristy area of downtown Portland. This shop is no tourist trap though. The gelato is excellent and they have many flavors. The eponymous gorgeous flavor was packed with caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. The waffle cone was also delicious.

So, so, soooo insanely tasty! After experiencing gelato while traveling through Italy, nothing has even come close until I tried Gorgeous Gelato. Their pistachio, coconut and stracciatella - divine! Also, try their gelato filled cannoli - OMG! Thanks for being awesome!

Found this place at just the right time. We were walking by and I was ready for a cool treat. All the flavors I tried were delicious, but the Gorgeous was by far my favorite! I had it in a cup with the Lemoncello which was very refreshing.

Tried the chocolate walnut because they were out of all other chocolate flavors. I did not care for it but the consistency and richness of the flavor suggested that the other flavors must be good and in general of good quality

When your gelato is made by a family who came from a gelateria in Italy you know its authentic! Excellent fruit sorbets on top of the usual gelato flavors. The pistachio cant be beat. Good atmosphere and lovely staff.

The lemon cookie gelato was incredible. So was the sour cherry. They let me try a bunch of flavors and they were all great. They dont have a ton of flavors and couldnt get me more than one flavor in a small cone.

Incredible gelato... can be very easy to underestimate the craft and delicacy and under appreciate it. But simply amazing. The texture is perfect and reminds me of my days traveling all throughout Italy.

It was my and my husbands first time to Old Port and two friends took us here... Its a quaint little ship with quality gelato, a good variety, and nice employees. Definitely going back there one day!

Oh my goodness, OH MY GOODNESS. Ive consumed some great gelato but this might be the best Ive ever had. I prefer the "gorgeous gelato" flavor, but everything I tried was good. Great service, too.
