My wife and I finally made it to the Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar after driving by it a few times while on vacation and always seeing it packed with folks in line. I had a kiddy size flurry (basically, a blizzard) and kiddy size cone while she had a two-scoop cone. The kiddy size cone was a large scoop of ice cream and the two-scoop was also large. The kiddy-flurry was about 8 oz. All were fantastic. I had Wild Main Blueberry ice cream. My wife had that and peppermint. I had a smore flurry. They Dairy Bar basically has ice cream and soft serve in lots of interesting flavors (probably 10 flavors each), and then a bunch of variations using those ingredients (shakes, sundays, etc.). Warning, the large soft-serve cone is gigantic, probably 8" to 10". They had all kinds of cool "swirl" combinations of soft-serve. The menu is augmented with lots of marker-on-construction-paper signs taped on the windows, so take a while to read them to see what all is available. That is where the real treasures (like the smore flurry) can be found. There were two adorable little children who got kiddy soft-serve sundays. The way their eyes lit up when they got them was something to behold. So much whip cream, so much soft-serve, and a cherry!! The little boy quickly gave up on the spoon as he cold not hold the cup in only one hand and just dug in face first. There were lots of locals here, if that tells you anything... Update: Went again today. Had the small coffee-blackberry swirl soft-serve. Was about 6" of soft-serve heaven.

Seams as if the people working this year are rude the frist time i went this year we ordered 5 ice creams and that when ok the we were getting our ice cream and that had started to go ok but theni went to get the banana boat the girl that handed it to me was rude then i gave it to my boyfriend and went to get mine and got mine fine but when i got back to the car the banana boat was all wrong it was drowning in whip cream and 2 out of the 3 scoops were wrong and he had only noticed it after eating half a scoop and when i brought it back the girl was extremely rude and said when i brought (what is wrong with it ) isaid this is not how we ordered this could you please fix it so then says to me (well i didnt make it) then closed the window in my face and went to making a new one so i walked back to my car to wait but was thinking i shouldnt matter who made it and this dose not cover the second time i went and last year in the frist month we went 15 times and never got treated like that thanks for reading sorry its so long

Awesome ice cream! Terrible customer service and atmosphere. The first time I stopped at Blueberry Hill this season, I was greeted by a tall, rude, and eye-rolling guy. He seemed to have a problem with my asking the difference in size between a small and a large. Tonight, I stopped by to purchase an ice cream after work, and was asked to wait. No big deal, the place was steady. I didnt get any eye rolls this time around, but this time I did get my order dead last after the two groups behind me were served. I waited about 15 minutes from arrival to serving. What bothers me is that the tall, rude guy spent more time cracking jokes at customers expense (including my own) and cackling than pleasantly serving customers or remembering the order of customers.

First of all, the ice cream was amazing. There were 6 of us and every one loved what they got. So why the bad review? The guy that waited on us was rude not only to us, but in the way he was treating & talking to his fellow co-workers. Power trip or bad day, Im not sure, but you dont treat others like that, ever. Im very disappointed in what we witnessed & experienced.

The staff is a bunch of 12 year olds with 0 handwashing skills. Only will take cash..no cards accepted. When you ask for a dish for your cone they will stuff it in a cup for you with half your ice cream falling down around the sides. Special requests and orders are ignored. Paid $9 for two ice creams and half of it is in the parking lot. Not happy!

Always a very nice place to stop I have 7 children and the staff has always been polite and friendly I grew up in Ellsworth and have always loved the ice cream and service they provide recommend to everyone to make a stop in and check out all the flavors

- Rushed and poor service, tho they did refund a purchase when it was found to have been rung up wrong. Regardless, I have to say they served just about THE most delicious soft serve wed ever had. - Enormous servings - Fantastic flavor!!

This is the best place to get ice cream near the MDI blueberry hill serves Gifford s famous ice cream for a low price and is a must visit for any one taking a day trip down to the coast

Milkshakes were not good they was not a lot of ice cream in them when we complained the lady told us to go to hell if that was the way she served on no way to treat customers
