I went into the store on 12/6 with a cell phone that decided on its own that it wanted to restart and would not get fully restarted and would start the process all over. I knew a few tricks to attempt to fix it. Like the power button and volume down at the same time, to do a soft reset. When that trick did not work I called Verizon in Biddeford and told the gentleman what was wrong. He told me to try the power and volume down buttons, I told him I had tried it once before with no prevail. I went into the store later that day and spoke with the gentleman I talked to on the phone. He took my phone, saw that there were some dings on it, (I mean who doesnt drop their phone?) and checked in the ports for water damage, which there was none since I had not dropped it in water or near water. He said that some sort of pins near my SIM card was corroding due to moisture, did not offer for me to see or to look. He then gave me a card for an insurance claim and sent me on my way. Throughout the process he was constantly speaking with another group that was being helped by another associate. Later that day, I went back in to ask him how much they would charge me if I sent it in for an upgrade, I had an upgrade available. He said he could not do that, didnt explain why. I went online and upgraded my line and spoke with an online associate, Jerome I. He was a lot of help and gave me all the information I asked for. And in the same time I tried a factory reset and it pulled my phone out of the loop it was stuck in. The gentleman in the store did not try that or offer any ideas. He was either not willing to help because I was in sweatpants and didnt look like the one to spend money. But I would like to think he would not do that, so that leads to the fact that he did not have proper training or did not feel like helping a college student. Either way, my phone was fixed with no help from Verizon Wireless in Biddeford, and I got to upgrade like I wanted to. It really irritates me that he did not want to help me as much as another group that was talking with another associate. Verizon itself is way better than any other service provider around, my spouse has US Cellular and has troubles a lot more often than I. It was the customer service that got me, he felt that he wasnt going to make a lot of money so didnt put much effort in.

I walked into the shop and may as well have been a ghost, Id be surprised if this review gets notice from them, all the sales guys were doing were losing customers as they walked from the store. I stood there in the middle of your store and never was asked once if I needed help, I did. i needed help getting a friend a phone. NEVER EVER would I switch back to you. last year I switched to AT&T when your workers went on strike and I wasnt informed and I was overcharged for data because whomever monitors such things I guess wasnt working. but were your customers informed no sir. this isnt a biased post I was a loyal sheep customer of yours for 10 years, but since switching have never been treated better. at this shop I felt like a sheep again. VEROZON YOU SUCK and the people you hire suck. get new service employees before your network sees its demise.

Employees may be nice but they are clueless about their products and are too lazy to assist you when you notice that the prices in their store are noticeably higher than in other Verizon stores. Plus, their prices contradict the prices shown on Verizons web site. I spoke to a Verizon customer support person and pointed out to the Biddeford Verizon store employees that the prices they listed in their store were incorrect. They didnt even try to call Verizon support to figure out why their prices were different. I ended up going to the South Portland Verizon store and got the same thing for more 50% less then what they tried to charge me in Biddeford. Stay away from Verizon store in Biddeford, they have no idea what they are doing and are too lazy to do their jobs.

We went to have our phone looked at since it was not powering on. The specialist was there and couldnt figure out what was wrong. Said they would ship a new phone guaranteed next day. Here we are, 3 days later, no phone. When you rely on your phone for work, this is very inconvenient. After putting in a complaint, the manager called me within minuted and proceeded to flat out tell me he was right and we were wrong. I thought customer service tries to make it right for the customer. Not with this carrier. Dont hold your breath when it comes to getting your issues resolved with the so called managers of this place. They were right on top of calling me back about the complaint to point out how I was wrong but not even close to fixing the issue.

Verizon just needs to be more transparent with fees and advertise the REAL price to have service with them. Not sure how you end up paying almost as much in taxes, fees, surcharges than they charge for a line of service. Barely the best coverage options and excited to see competition making them finally compete!!! LOWER YOUR PRICES and maybe get more customers to stick around!

My phone had a possible virus and was getting super hot (and not in a good way). Added to that I was 3+ hours from home, and use my phone GPS for directions. The staff at the verizon store were so nice! Not only did they fix the phone, but while we waited for the reboot, got me water and made me feel at home. Wish I lived closed because these people are the best!!!!

Staff wont help you. They just walk around ignoring you. They have no knowledge of what theyre doing. Kendra was extremely unprofessional. She acted like she managed the place and refused to help me. My phone had numerous problems & the only advice was to buy a wireless charger. How is that going to help when my screen goes black

Verizon wireless is without a doubt the slowest service and most inconsistent I have experienced in many years. If Verizon or Biddeford or Time Warner cannot support service they need to get out or really drop the charges to almost nothing which is just about what we get for service.

I have switched to Verizon and I am very satisfied. Ive only had three other different cell phone services in the past but since finding Verizon I decided to stay. Verizon customer service is great
