I adopted a cat that the Bangor Humane Society was showing through PetSmart. During the process the manager of the store was extremely rude and initially would not let me even look at the cat because "this isnt a petting zoo". After going over to BHS, where the staff were very unimpressed with the way the manager handled the situation, I had to go back and forth between the places several times to fill out the paperwork and actually meet the cat in order to bring her home. Needless to say it turned into a ridiculously long process because the manager of the store didnt want to take the time to interact with a customer for more than 5 minutes. After this, I started going to Petco where the employees are much nicer and actually care about the quality of service.

Bought a hamster here and she wasnt the right fit for my house so I had to return her and staff was downright rude. Laurie and another female staff member were very condescending. Sara, whom I first bought the hamster from was kind. Prices were comparably to Petco. Clean but unimpressed with service.

Needed fish antibiotics but they do not carry, they state only carry natural solutions. This does not work quick enough to solve problems immediately. They need to offer choices not make the decision for you.

The employees are super friendly and we love the groomers here. They have gotten to know our dog so well and she is perfectly happy when we drop her off to get groomed.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Shelves are well stocked. A little pricey, but great sales help a lot. This store is worth visiting.

Your dog trainer treated me like crap. She was treating me like I was stupid. I liked the old trainer. I will not be back. Nor will anyone I know.
