My most recent visit was two days ago. The store was clean and well stocked. Staff is always friendly and helpful and will do what they can to help you. However they are only down to one price checker. Thats going to be an issue for a lot of people especially around the holidays. The store manager needs to step up her game in getting those repaired. UPDATE: Went in there 12/26/16. Their credit card machines werent working so they were only taking cash. The lights in the parking lot were out and so was the store sign... so no lights whats so ever, the parking lot needs to be repainted, couldnt even see where the lines were to park, no lights didnt help the situation. Went into the store walked around and seen 1 employee on the floor and 2 cashiers. They had the front doors blocked off due to shoplifters who ran out with about $10,000 of merchandise within a week. (Found that out from an employee who I used to worked with when I was working there). I worked in this store for 8 years, Ive never seen it so run down, short staffed and unsafe. As a former employee, the safety of the employees are just as important as the customers and I strongly recommend there should be security at all times at this store. I even heard a shoplifter ran back into the store and attempted to attack one of the employees... ALSO, I heard from the same employee that they were supposed to get security for this location and they never got their security guard! this is ridiculous! The store is also outdated and needs a major face-lift. Id start with ripping up that nasty carpet though out the store and replace the whole thing with new tile. The tile is cracked... dingy. The bathrooms are even worse. Its so dissappointing to come back to this place to see it look the way it does and to hear that the employees feel unsafe at their own JOB! Something needs to be done if this TRU location is going to stay in business.. I bet corporate doesnt even pay attention to any of these reviews. YOU ALL NEED TO TAKE ACTION AND DO SOMETHING!

Extremely disappointed with our experience! Came into an unkept store, where merchandise was literally everywhere. We had to check the prices on all the items we bought because nothing was marked properly. Then at checkout we waited in line for over 20 minutes with one register open.! We saw 6 associates around the front end and when they were confronted by another customer they had an attitude that she inquired about the lines with all the extra bodies just standing around. If they have that much staff, one would think that if they didnt have the stores cleanliness in mind at least they would be customer oriented. At least the toys r us on Dixie was a little nicer. Not coming back!

Ideal para comprar cualquier artículo para bebés y niños ya mayores. Los precios un poco más caros que en otras tiendas pero hay que tener en cuenta que esta es una tienda especializada y se encuentran en ocasiones variedades en los modelos que no existen en otras tiendas. La recomiendo.

Very very poor service. Two bad experiences in one week. First I have a coupon for a $10 gift card if I buy $75 worth of stuff and they are conveniently out of gift cards...how do you run out of gift cards. Then today I go to buy a play set for my grandbabies and according to their scan cards they should have 5 in the store, I wait in a line wrapped around the store and guess what...they are out of stock...Really!!! I am done with Toys R Us!!!

God help you if you go after dark, the lights in the parking lot are NEVER on. The staff acknowledges your arrival and say hello and are there if you have questions. As to stock they had quite a selection given the smaller size compared to the other Louisville Toys R Us. Would come back but they really need to fix those parking lot and store sign lights, the store really does look closed if the sun goes down.

I recognize this is a very busy season, but seriously!!! Disappointed with this Outer Loop/ Jefferson Mall location. Lights out in the parking lot creating unsafe conditions, extremely dirty parking lot, very very messy store and to top it off, throw up on the floor with cones and caution tape around it. Can you say "health hazard"? Come on!! Unbelievable. Simply GROSS!

Took my granddaughter shopping last Saturday. Purchased several items...when i got home which is in Elizabethtown i didnt have a bag of items...called the store manager said she would fed ex the bag the cashier did not hand me....never came....i am going to the store tomorrow...not happy at all....will not shop here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful during our visit, and the store was clean and organized. The building does look a little dated on the outside, but the inside wasnt bad. I was disappointed that I couldnt find any price check scanners in the store. If they have any, they arent very easy to find.

This is a horrible store. The building is rundown, the store is dirty, half the stuff in the store is broken, there needs to be a lot of maintenance done. I walk through the store for 20 minutes and never saw an employee.

No lighting in parking lot and front of store looks like store is Closed. Inside store is in a disarray and dirty. Half of price check scanners dont work. Staff inattentive. Wont be coming back to this location

Called once and were hung up on. Called back, phone rang some 25+ times and no answer! The employees there obviously dont own the business or they would answer the phone.

This place is usually really busy and usually a mess, everytime I go. Seem to be out of stock of sale items alot too. Definitely not worth the trouble, for me at least.

Not enough check out cashiers! Lines were a mile long & my cashier moved sloth speed. No reason for that especially at such a busy season.
