I will never shop at this store again online for black Friday. They will cancel your order 8 days later and wont even try to offer you something at equal value. Even though, you only get Black Friday once a year. I have a 19 month old baby and toys r us is normal the store they get there birthdays and Christmas from. they cost me more money then help me save any and because of that they have lost my business forever. Im just glade I did not get everything from there. matter fact I will be taking everything back I did get which was little stuff because they are bad business. then I stay on the phone for two hours the rep never drop the call. but less then five minutes with a supervisor name Kathy on the line the call hangs up very suspect. trust me if you are reading this think twice before shopping on-line when they have deals because they will cancel and notify you 8 days later. This tells me they dont know how to handle there stock. They over sale more then they have. In 2015 they dont even have a program set up to sell what they have in stock. blind shopping, you will never know if you will get the product or not. o yeah they have 20 in stock in the warehouse in my city and they told me to go in the store and see if they will honor that price.... WOW Less well learned. #Bantoysrus I called back and spoke with Cynthia, explained to her that situation again. she was not able to help me she spoke with the same supervisor that hung up on me. I asked her if it was Kathy, she said no her name is Kayala or Kayla. they play to many games thye lie about there names and hang up on customers. Boy i swear with out a doubt they lost my business for life. #BanToyRUs4Life.

We had such an amazing experience at this store yesterday! We went to purchase a power wheel toy for our daughters birthday, and had no clue what we wanted or which one would be the best fit for her age and size. We were approached by Hank, and he had a huge personality and immediately made the experience enjoyable. He had so much knowledge about the products, and knew all the specifications without even looking at the information. "Nobody knows power wheels like big Hank knows power wheels!" That was his motto! he suggested one, and it ended up being exactly what we needed! I have never seen someone that loved his job so much, and that reflected in how he handles himself while working. He was helpful, entertaining, and overall just a joy to be around. I hope he receives recognition for his customer service and how knowledgeable he is about his job. People like him are what creates lifelong customers! Tori was our cashier, and she was also wonderful to deal with. Overall, this was an amazing experience and we will now do ALL of our shopping for things they sell at this location. Thank you Big Hank and Tori!!

This review is not for a physical store but for the online store. I purchased a digital movie, and the service was discontinued. Instead of issuing me a refund on my credit card they sent me an E gift card. I hardly shop at Toys r us, and just now went to use my card, only to find out that it was slightly expired, by less than a year. They refused to look up my original transaction and give me MY money back. So not only do my kids not have our movie, but our money was stolen from us. I will never shop at this place again and am so angry at the companys failure to provide customer service.

Called to verify whether or not layaway was offered at this location. When the phone was finally answered, the person who answered did not place me on hold but covered the receiver with her hand and asked someone else. She removed her hand and stated "I dont know because I havent been here in a couple of weeks." I was placed on eternal hold, so I hung up without getting an answer. Very poor Customer Service...if it can be called that. Take pride in your job and realize just blessed you are to have one because many dont.

This reminds me of the store from my childhood! Incredibly vintage store from the early 80s that is also, sadly, pretty distressed. A small store was very clean and organized inside, had "supermarket" aisles for product and even still used those ticket slips for video game purchases -- a concept that has been retired from its stores since 1996! Corporate needs to make sure this store stays intact, its got so much character!

customer service stinks.. I have 2 children and 13 nieces and nephews so we shop for toys year round. Its a toy store and the employees openly gripe about each other for customers to hear. I will start ordering online or going to Columbus or Bham. 2 times this Christmas I have had very bad experiences. I know its a tuff time to work in retail, but its a TOY store suck it up and smile a little!
