First of all let me just say that i am not looking to damage the owner in any way but i do feel like i need to give my opinion and let you judge for yourself. I went to his store looking for old toys from my youth like most people do. I did in fact find two action figures that i was looking for. His prices are rather steep but I purchased them anyways. After getting home and scrutinizing the figures i found one of them to be a counterfeit action figure put out by China in the 90s in an attempt to capitalize on the booming star wars collectors market. The most FAKED action figure was the FARMBOY version of LUKE SKYWALKER. .The counterfeiters made these action figures easily to spot if you know what to look for such as the country of origin saying CHINA instead of the TAIWAN or HONG KONG followed by a corresponding date of manufacture. I took the FAKE Luke back and got a brown hair authentic from him but it didnt have the saber so he said he had original saber with the tip still on it. I got that in exchange and thought all was Ok now A way to test the accompanying small weapons that came with the figure was to do what is called a FLOAT test by simply floating the weapon in a glass of water. Kenner didnt use injection molding processes back then like they do today. Kenner pour molded and that locked microscopic air bubbles inside the plastic. thus allowing them to float in water to verify authenticity. I decided to float test the lightsaber he gave me with the Luke i purchased from him. It sank like a rock. So i decided i better get out from under this heinous purchase and return it to him for a refund. When i went to the store and talked to the owner about all this and my findings. He plain and simply exploded and started saying that he "SIMPLY DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE !!!!" and made a comment that he " BEEN DOIN THIS FOR 30 YRS AND KNEW WHAT TO LOOK FOR !!!" . To be honest he frankly i think he was calling me and all the people who know what to look for a bunch of liars and he didnt even want to acknowledge that China was to blame for this ...not me ...not him....China. . Then as if i was dumb enough to believe that someone would suddenly call in the middle of us talking.. he picked up his cell phone and then dialed his own store to make the business phone ring so that he could stop discussing the issue with we getting a refund on FAKE stuff. He then pointed to the phone and said OK ! I GOT A CALL then made a brushing motion with his hand like the way you shew a fly. Disgusted with his immature attitude and non professionalism on this matter I left his store never to return. Typical of people who sell fakes and get caught..they dont want to admit they been caught and make it right with the customer. BUYER BEWARE!

I walked in this place for the first time the other day and may I say that this stores massive collection of media blew me away. Hard-to-find collectables are conveniently place on shelves or behind glass cases for you to gaze upon in awe. The video games; So many video games... I think its safe to say that if youre looking for a game -- retro or new -- this store has it in-stock and waiting for you. Did I mention there are toys? Oh golly, there are so many old toys that they are literally stacked up to the ceiling on every side! This store offers the quaint feeling that only a local store can give you; With the friendly hospitality of the staff and the pure feelings of awe you experience upon entering the store. Definitely a store you NEED to check out. Keep Louisville Weird.

As an avid, vintage toy collector this place is a must. The selection, prices and service are top notch. Alway willing to make a deal to put a smile on the customers face, no matter if youre a 40 year old man looking to reclaim your childhood. Its like walking back into a nostalgic realm when I walk inside.

My all time favorite place to shop for classic toys! Mr. Jim and his team are always friendly, the stock always changes, and he will negotiate on some of the prices. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, or browse for nostalgia, I highly recommend stopping by the family friendly store called Toy Crazy!

Owner didnt want to move a crate so my son could look through the crate underneath it because it was too heavy. Why have it double stacked like that if you cant look inside the other crate why have it in the display locked up. Waste of space.

A bit disappointed I can only give this place five stars as it deserves so many more. This place is like stepping into a toy store from back when I was a kid. Someone take my money so I dont buy all their Transformers please!!!!!!!!

The owner is an incredibly friendly and gives pretty good deals. He also already has tax included on the stuff for kids to easily buy them with the bit of money they may have!
