Like some other reviews, I found an item on line that I wanted to purchase, but said it was not available and to check the local store. I call our local store and asked the employee that answered the phone if they had that particular item. She checked and then said they had one left. I asked her if she could hold it for me until I could get there later that day. She said she would and put it at the customer service desk. Just go there and ask for Jenny sometime before 8pm when she went off shift. I arrived at the store about 6:15pm and asked the lady at the customer service desk if she had the item I had called about. She looked in the cluttered accumulation of items there and held up a similar item, but I stated it was not the correct one. Another worker looked as well, then said hed check the shelf in the store. I stated that he likely wouldnt find one since Jenny said it was the last one. When he came back he said there were no more on the shelf. Several times I had asked if Jenny was there (the one I spoke to) but no attempt was made to find her until late in the discussion. She said the item they showed me was what she had held for me. I again confirmed that it was not the specific item I had talked to her about (although Jenny did not personally come to the service desk during all of this). The one male worker was told to check in the back room warehouse for one and finally came back, but went about doing something on one of their terminals. When I asked the lady at the desk if there was anything they were going to do for me, or if I should just go home, she apologized for having the male employee doing something else. After about 45min of waiting to be helped, and going back and forth with them, I left the store telling them that they are living up to some of the reviews I read about them on their site. And here is another disappointed customer. And left with no purchase and a 20 minute drive back to my home.

This place is terrible. Last week I called the store to find out if they had an item before driving out there and was told that they did. An employee put the item in hold, but when I arrived I was told that a manager took it off hold and gave it to another customer. I spoke another manager who said that they will continue to check their shipments for the item. I got a call last night saying that they had it and will hold it for me. I come in this morning...wrong item and no ones knows what to do. In a related incident I bought a Disney Infinity starter pack the other day. I came in today to get my nonexistent item and see that they had a special where if you purchased a ln Infinity Starter pack you could get a figure for $.99. I asked if I could get the deal and was told that I could and that customer service would be able to help me. When I got to customer they acted indignant and said that there was no way they could do that. This store is terrible. Only the part-time assistant manager Taylor and an associate named Carlos were helpful and seemed to care.

I recently went to Toys r us to pick up a few of this months pokemon products since its pokemon s 20th anniversary. I picked up this months card collection and went looking for the shaymin plush. When I looked there wasnt any in stock, after purchasing the shaymin card collection I told the cashier about the plush I was looking for she kindly told me about customer service to look it up to see if any was available. The lady in customer service called a gentlemen to help me find what I was looking for, he searched through the items online from the store and said that there was Six available in stock, he gladly let me follow him towards the back of the store to look for the plush. There were so many boxes as we looked for 5-10 mins. He then finally found the item I was looking for and I was highly satisfied!! I am grateful for the service because they found what I was looking for and Ill be coming back soon to get my next plush, Keldeo ^^

My kids loved the store but I hated it!! Its like a sweat lodge in there every time we go! Its so hot!!! There is stuff everywhere and very disorganized... we had to go up to the front of the store just to find somebody to ask a simple question when we asked we got a very rude response. When I went to pay the lady wanted me to sign up for their club card. I told her no she then asked me for my drivers license I thought it was because Im paying with my credit card but it was so that she could scan the back of it and get my name and address and then proceeded to hand me a club card???? Very manipulative and rude!

Super rude staff and very unorganized. Asked the manager if we could order a bed converter kit. She sent us up front to customer service. After we waited ten minutes, she walked off. Followed her back and she said go back up front. No one was over there so we asked three more people that ignored what we were saying and walked off. We ended up leaving and ordering at babiesrus. The place is extremely dirty and the employees were representational of that. The manager reeked of cigarettes and acted like she didnt want to be there.

Employees made faces and clearly were talking bad about me as I walked away after asking a simple question. Then in the same visit my friend is accused of stealing while he is paying for something at the front registers because he is already holding a bag that has product and a receipt in it from earlier. I normally havent even complained about the ridiculous prices on stuff but if you cant have any sort of service to go with it Im not sure what good this store is.

We went there, after Christmas, and my sister got the new "Batman 2 DC Super Heroes" and this Wii U game was right in front of the check out. When we opened it today there wasnt a disk inside or the instructions to play or maybe hook it up through the Wii. If you can let somebody take something from you that is like two meters away you system is messed up. Im glad I know not to go back there for the fact that you guys basically ripped us off.

My family and I went to toys r us today. They have NO customer service there. This place was very messy. The prices did not match the stuff that it was on the shelves. The manager and employees there are very rude and not very helpful. I asked for help about a price and the employee told me to go up front and talk to the manager. We will NEVER go back there again.

this Toy R us is the worst store ..we place 12 items in lay a way and when we went to pick them up they lost 4 of the more popular toys..we had to fight with the manager and then one one the cashiers named Jen mock at me and made fun that we were upset that they lost part of our order.. and we can,t even get a district or corp person to talk to us.. let a place.
