When I bought my V-Star, it needed brakes, a front tire, and a battery. The first price I was given was just under $400. I stopped by a few days later to pay in full up front. The price had jumped to $440 with no real explanation. After 2 weeks of no battery I asked them about it. They said that particular battery was on “national backorder” and he was trying to find an alternate battery we could use. After THREE WEEKS, I was given a battery that was so big, I couldn’t get the chrome cover over. I had to ride with an exposed battery. The tire: The tire showed up in about a week. I went to get my bike, but no one called to tell me it was 1″ too big for the wheel. Another week went by and they finally got one that would fit on the wheel, but was much more narrow than what I had on it originally and what I ordered. When the tire was put on, the brakes were done. “Hey Bear, you guys did brakes front and rear, right?” “Oh yeah, we got you taken care of.” LIE. Front brakes were done, rear brakes never were done. STILL haven’t been done. Not only did they not perform the brake job that I already paid for, but they never reimbursed me the money for parts/labor.

Horrible place. I ordered a tire, bear said it would take 3 days and I need to put a 50 dollar deposit. It wasnt there in three days. No one called to let me know anything, actually they never answer their phone and the number bear gave me was disconnected. After three weeks of nothing I had to wait out side the store to catch some one and ask about my tire. (This was when they were supposedly open). I caught bear and he said my tire was in but to come back tomorrow at 1:30. I canceled somethings to make this appointment. I got there and waited for 1 for one hour and no one showed up. Finally I was so sick of it. I called the cops and although they couldnt do anything legally but the officer said he would stop by and look into it. Needles to the tire wasnt there and it took the cops to get my money back. I am surprised this place is in business. They are nothing but criminals

Its odd to see this company online now because I worked for them many years ago when they were located in Jackson County. I painted and prepped some of the bikes there but the owner Bear, packed up and left in the middle of the night and left us all without a job due to whatever reasons. However, the job itself wasnt too bad and I was doing something I enjoyed to do but the wages wasnt great and I havent forgotten they way he just dumped his employees. I dont recommend doing any business here unless your looking to spend a lot of money or get ripped off.
