I bought a used Acura TL from here October 2015. The sales rep (Harrison) was very friendly, and the sale went though without much hassle. I bought a warranty for the vehicle, thinking it would be cheaper to pay the warranty than any repairs that could happen. The first time I took it for an oil change and to fix the broken Bluetooth connection, Courtesy Acura (which was cheaper by $10 and came with a wash and vacuum) told me the rear control arms were rusted out, and they tried to work with the warranty service to get it fixed, but the warranty would only cover the Bluetooth, not even the diagnostic for the Bluetooth, $500 of the $1700 in repairs it needed. Cancelled the warranty and thought that was the end of it. Today, I took it to have the tires rotated and balanced, because I had been getting vibrations at 65mph+. Service center told me the tires are chopped, which is uneven wear due to bad struts. This repair, which will require a new set of tires (a selling point was that DJ had put BRAND NEW TIRES on the car before the sale) will cost ANOTHER $1800. I understand that I bought a used vehicle, but within one year, I will have spent almost FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS on repairs on a vehicle that DJ had "inspected," and told me was in fine working condition. Dont trust them. I certainly never will. And I have no idea what other problems will occur in the next 12 months, and how many more thousands Ill have to pay to keep this vehicle road worthy.

I just bought a new, 2016 VW Tiguan but I worked with Mark Bowen in the Don Jacobs Used Cars sales department. From start to finish, the experience was refreshingly low key and anxiety-free. Mark was a pleasure to work with, and throughout the whole process, I thought of him more as my car "coach" than as my sales associate. He stood by patiently through much discussion and many test drives on my part, helped negotiate an extremely fair trade-in, and went out of his way at the end to locate a vehicle that fit my exact specifications when it was out of stock at the dealership. I had my previous VW serviced at Don Jacobs, but this was the first time Ive purchased a car from the dealership. I feel, without a doubt, that I got honest advice along the way and a very fair deal at the end. I would certainly purchase another car from Mark and the team at Don Jacobs and I would certainly recommend their services.

Overall a Grade A experience. Came across a car I was interested in, went to test it, liked it, bought it, done. Simple as that. Now while their staff is very friendly and professional, it was a man named Mark Bowen who made it a top notch experience. Mark clearly knows what he is doing, he seemed to be a seasoned pro. I wasnt pressured into buying anything, although I did buy something and Im glad that I did. I even received take-home bowl of beer cheese that he personally made! Yeah, I know thats kind of random but that beer cheese is ridiculously good stuff. In fact, the beer cheese alone is worth going there and doing business with this guy lol. Be sure to ask for Mark Bowen. This guy makes it worth doing business with Don Jacobs.

I was in a very interesting situation, and needed to buy a car while still in Florence, Italy for when I was home. I found the exact Jetta that I wanted, and was lucky enough to have Salesperson Mark Bowen contact me! His response time was so quick, and he worked for days to make sure every single base was covered for when I arrived home. The process was quick and painless, and I was able to have my car delivered the day I arrived back in Lexington. I will 100% return to Mark for when I am looking to buy my next vehicle. I am so pleased with the entire process, and cant believe almost all of the details were handled from over 5,000 miles away. 10/10 Would recommend Mark and Don Jacobs. Thanks so much, guys and gals!

My husband and I recently purchased a Honda Accord from Don Jacobs. The salesman, Mark Bowen, was friendly, honest and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond. Mark was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in and gave us great advice on our purchase. He gave us a tour of the basic workings of each car we test drove. There was no pressure to purchase, which is a welcome change from our previous experiences at other dealerships. The atmosphere and quality of service at Don Jacobs is a cut above other dealerships. We certainly recommend Don Jacobs and very highly recommend Mark Bowen, you won’t be disappointed.

A friend of mine has a VW minivan that has been brought to you numerous times for a reoccuring problem. I find it very disturbing that she feels completely taken advantage of due to the negligence from your delearship. The most disturbing part of all this is that the first resolution to getting her minivan fixed is to mention the cost of correcting a problem that was identified numerous times. Instead of working with a large corporation like VW to honor her warranty in the first place for a problem thats had the attention of your delearship prior. This is not the way to treat customers............just saying!

Being in the field of customer service I am picky. That being said I wish they had more than 5 stars to rate this place, from the receptionist to the mechanics this place knows how to treat their guests. They found me a perfect car in my price range, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. If you are leary of going to talk to "car salesmen" do not worry, I was treated like family and nothing was pushed on me, which is very hard to find. Thank you to Mark Bowen for making my experience not only perfect, but quite enjoyable! Cheak them out!!

I have tried to give this dealership more than one chance to convince me to buy a car from them. To confirm you have a certain vehicle on your lot, setup an appointment to look at the next day but later call to state "it sold to another person but if you take even less for your trade in and offer asking price for the other its yours" is absolutely despicable-especially since they were contacting my wife and felt she would be clueless and desperate to buy in. Result-Frankfort Honda wins again!

Brian has become a good friend and a great service rep when it comes to maintenance on my 2007 VW EOS... He is current with all my past services and upcoming maintenance... Had a great experience with the body shop! Every one was very courteous and respectful. They did a fantastic job repairing my 2015 Honda Pilot. They gave me updates on the status on the repairs which was great! Most shops just tell you what you want to hear. Had a overall great experience and would highly recommend them with repairing a vehicle. Customer service has diminished over time, but you can tell at Don Jabobs it hasnt!
