I spent over 2 months looking for a $7,000 car for my daughter. We both hated it, everyone lied to us. The few cars that made it past the Autocheck had major problems (like flood damage). Then we went to Dogwood Auto Sales. I was so skeptical at that point that I didnt believe all of the things Chuck said about only selecting good cars, and the money they spent with their local mechanic to bring the cars up to their standards. But the low mileage Ford Focus drove really well. Then we took it to our mechanic. Both my daughter and I were dreading the visit to the mechanic because every other car we took to them had major issues. They checked it out and said "Its a keeper". Everything about the buying experience was excellent. Then it got even better. We bought the car. After buying the car we discovered there wasnt a spare tire, there was a factory installed pump instead. That seemed odd but apparently it is not uncommon. I called Chuck back and got voice mail. I started making calls to a few tire stores and the Ford dealer as I was sure I would have to come up with this out of pocket. Here is the amazing part--Chuck called me back, he said he had already ordered a spare tire and that I could pick it up in a couple days. I did, wow, we bought this AS IS and he not only called me back but he got us a spare, it was a brand new spare. Couldnt believe it. I am a raving fan, Dogwood is completely different from every other place we dealt with. I have already recommended them to others. Truly a great experience!

Got a Great Thing Going... I recently bought a Mazda CX-5 from Dogwood Auto Works. I did much research and went to many dealerships around the Atlanta Metropolitan area. Buying a vehical is always stressful, no matter how good the dealer or the car is or the car you wish to buy, but I decided to continue working with them for two reasons. 1. They seemed to put my needs before their own interests. For example, they helped me find who to bank with and the exact person to qualify me for a very good loan, took time to address my needs and I never felt rushed. Very Professional! 2. They were very upfront and honest. This is the MAIN reason I continued to work with them and was happy to give them my business. Most dealerships Con you into certain models of cars, and are only looking for the highest profit margin. However, I enjoyed working with Dogwood Auto Works and appreciated their integrity throughout the process. The only thing I would change is how they advertise the price of the vehicles. They go with the: “The sticker price IS the price”. I think more dealerships should be like that, makes room for a more honest salesmen. I just feel they should place that on the ads for their vehicles. Needless to say, this dealership has a great thing going for them. Need a vehicle? Save yourself sometime and go to Dogwood Auto Works.

I bought a car from Chuck and Nathan Ellyson a couple of weeks ago. The experience could not have been better! I looked all over the Atlanta metro area for a nice used car for my daughter. After many, many unsuccessful attempts to drive, price, and negotiate a car deal, I found Dogwood Auto Works on the USAA car buying service. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, shown the car I was interested in, and offered a test drive. At no time did Chuck or Nathan pressure me into buying a car, use "car salesman" tactics, or treat me differently because I was a single mom with a limited budget. They were perfect gentlemen who are building a solid, reputable business. I could have found a similar model car elsewhere, but at Dogwood Auto Works there were no "hidden" fees or bogus add-ons that most dealerships slip in at the last minute. I know that I got a great deal from an honest business! I would highly recommend them to everyone. I am 100% satisfied with my new car.
