I was having trouble finding a good groomer for my Westie and decided to give Pet Valu a try, especially since they do grooming appointments rather than crating your pet for hours like a lot of other places I have found. Pet Valu did a great job on my Westie. In fact, it was the best trim hes ever had. The price was very reasonable, and the groomer was very sweet and good to my dog. I also like how this store has the pet washing stations where you can come in and wash your pet yourself. They provide the shampoo, conditioner, and towels. I think thats a great option for when you want to give your dog a bath in between grooming appointments. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and this store has earned my repeat business. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I am so excited that my favorite groomer Aly has now been grooming at this location for a couple weeks. She is the only groomer I have ever fully trusted with my little Airedale Elena and have been bringing her to Aly for over a year now. She can be scared and nervous at times due to being rescued from a puppy mill. Aly is amazing loving on her, always talking softly and very gentle. Elena adores her and always looks great! Aly is very experienced, prices are a steal plus she is a total doll to boot. If you are looking for a new groomer go see Aly at Pet Valu in Frankfort, KY. P.s. the store and employees are wonderful as well.

I went to the Frankfort store this morning 9/9/2016, around 9:30 to bath my own dog. While there I could here someone yelling stop, be still, etc. and heard a dog Yelp a few times, I can only assume it was the groomer with a dog in the back. It upset me and I told the clerk sitting at the counter that it was not good advertising for their groomer to be acting like that, she didnt say anything. This has really turned me against this place. Be very careful if you are taking your dog here.

Ive been to this store twice. Their prices are 20% higher than Feeders Supply or Tractor Supply, and the lady who waited on me both times, while helpful in finding the particular item I needed, went too far trying to upsell me brands that were much higher in price both times I was in the store. I felt like I was being followed around by a car salesman.

Mostly go for dog food since they have a reward plan that will get you free bag if you buy often enough. Also have a discount for buying some things by the case, which I do. Would rather not shop every week for my dogs on top of my own grocery shopping. Started taking my dogs to the groomer there since theyre a better deal then others I have gone to.

I have both of my Collies groomed here by Ally. They love seeing her!! We followed her to petvalu from where she worked previously... we would follow her anywhere!! It is so nice to have a groomer who does such a great job, who loves what she does and who you can trust with your furbabies!!

My standard poodle, Phryne, absolutely loves her groomer! We have been seeing Aly since Phryne was a puppy. We were so pleased when Aly started working at Pet Valu in Frankfort this past January! Would recommend her to anyone who wants a loving, talented groomer!

Very happy with this groomer. I have 2, Eleven month old Shih Tzu . Today was our 3rd time there. The girls are relaxed and calm when I gather them to go home and the cuts are good.

Aly is the only person my dogs will go to for any bathing or grooming. I wont try to bathe them on my own again since I know I cant do it nearly as well as she can.
