Although I do enjoy their selection very much so, I cant help but hear more and more conversation happening each time Im in there, especially from the staff as they are the loudest ones. Although Im not against chit chat, it seems as though the customer base has taken on the mentality of the staff in that they look at it as some sort of hip coffee shop with some books to read, rather than what it truly is in a book store with a coffee shop inside. Id love to go there more often, but its just flat out too noisy with cell phone conversations and plain disrespect for your fellow human while they are trying to read or write.

Weve never had a problem at B&N in Florence; always received excellent service, found new books & old, ordered new & used books for pickup at the store and with no delay. Coffee shop is great place for one of us to read and snack while the other browses at length. And the people are absolutely great, do everything they can to help. No, Im not related to any of them and dont have stock in the company.

Could be 5 stars if they had more of a music section. I was saddened to see they have one little shelf for just vinyl and they didnt have any indie artists. It was all classic rock/pop and recent pop/rap music. I dont know why this one isnt like the ones in Louisville, unless they are downsizing. Other than this, my membership is still worth it because of the great selection of books.

The people that work the cafe are wonderful. They always have a friendly disposition. They never complain when Im there for hours on end when Im writing. Its my place to go to write.
