This review is for my experience selling books at that location. I went in and had two others in front of me. I thought no problem, the other location in town is very quick, so I figured this location would be the same. WRONG ! Again, for selling books, I found this place to be very inefficient and unorganized. The buying staff kept coming and going, and after 25 minutes, the two batches in front of mine didnt even move. Then when the guy finally took my bag, the customer counter paged for some help with another customer, and they summoned the guy that was doing my books. Excuse me ? This guy was supposed to be helping me ! So, after 45 minutes in the store, I FINALLY got my books done. They said it was the weekend and it was very busy. Sorry guys, but the other location in town is just as busy, and they are WAY more efficient and organized, so thats where Ill keep going because Ive never waited more than 20-25 minutes even with 3 other customers ahead of me.

I go to Half Price Books, including this location, on a regular basis, and spend hundreds of dollars every year. This location advertised on the Internet that it would open Christmas Eve at 9:00 am; unfortunately, after making a special trip there shortly after nine to avoid heavy mall traffic later in the day, I and several other customers were turned away. They told us that the early opening time listed on the Internet was a mistake, and they wouldnt open until 10:00--almost an hour later. Needless to say, I didnt stand in the parking lot waiting for them to open: I left and didnt come back. Frankly, Im not sure when or if I will go back there.

Half Price Books is a bit of a toss up with selection because its a used book store, but that should be expected. Generally they have a very good selection and even have comics and video games. Fantastic for nerds and people who love to learn. Also has very good deals. If, however, you wish to sell your used books to them, you should know going in that you are only going to get a few cents per book, or a couple bucks for a large box of books. This is all worth it though if you wish to invest in a local, brick and mortar book store, which are a dying breed.

Husband and I love to come but this time they had removed little stools near the racks so we are disappointed. The store needs to recognize that not everyone can get down on the floor to look at lower shelves whether books, CDs or videos. Why are they gone? Need to be returned, please so we can browse and buy more! Really affected our visit negatively.

This place has cheap books cheap movies and puzzles and free coffee and tables to sit at and the greatest kids area with fair prices and nice people who are very helpful if you dont find what your looking for they are willing to order what you need as cheap as possible fun bookstore to spend hours at browsing through the whole place I love this store

I love this store! I was in a car accident and broke a vertebrae in my spine and i went there to get some books and movies two of their employees helped me with no problem they even carried the books and movies i had wanted to the cash register and to the car!!! They are so nice and i absolutely love it there!!!!

I can always find a treasure here. Great prices, amazing selection on most any topic. Friendly knowledgeable staff always willing to help find something or chat about books and authors, movies etc. Just about any genre and form of entertainment can be found here.

First time being at this Half Price and its just as nice as the one in Hamburg! Always a pleasure to walk in and browse. This location actually has better help. Twice someone came up and asked if they could help, but not in the annoying way many places do

Its a wonderful place to buy mostly gently used books, but I wouldnt recommend selling to them. I must have given them 30 books and I only received $2. Im an avid reader and I take very good care of my books, so I dont understand their pricing.

it was a blast finding amazing new books to read but the only problem was not all of the recently published books were there. but otherwise its a great book shop with great deals. I love half price books. :)

Always great. Affordable and the staff is always friendly. Selling books can sometimes be more difficult because you have to stay there and if there are a lot of people selling it can take a while.

Good and cheap books. They dont give good deals when u trade in your stuff. They should have a cleaner coffee stand and more chairs and tables. I like the variety of old video games.
