There was this book I wanted which Id seen on The Walking Dead but could not find anywhere online. I even tried other countries but could not find a single copy! In a last ditch effort with no hope left at all I called Barnes & Noble. I spoke with a really nice guy who actually took the time to talk with me while he searched a computer for the book in question. To my amazement not only did he find it, but was able to get it into the store for me to pick up the very next day. But my review doesnt end their... So I go in the next day to get my book very late in the day. I was so tired and hadnt had time to eat all day so I was hungry and grumpy. I went to the checkout counter and shared my little story with this sweet little (I mean just the tiniest young woman) who then began to explode with excitement. How can that much energy come out of someone so small? She loves books so much that she couldnt help but explode! I really liked her! She found my special ordered book and checked me out in a flash! I actually felt less tired after my encounter with the little Energizer woman. As I was about to walk out my nose picked up the smell of coffee! I decided to visit their coffee bare which was probably a mistake given that I hadnt ate all day and was planning to go straight home to bed. The guy who waited on me had this impossible hairdo (I could never be so brave and bold but I love people that can wear exciting and impossible hairdos) and incredibly infectious zeal about him. I told him I was so tired and was on my way home to go to bed but would like something hot (it was middle of winter) and maybe a snack. He suddenly turned into the Sherlock Homes of Coffee makers. He asked me all sorts of questions about what I like and didnt like and then he said, "Im going to make you something I know you are going to love! It might sound odd at first but trust me. Okay?" I agreed and while he went about brewing his potion for me I checked out the sweets. BIG MISTAKE! I ended up getting three different sweet treats to take home. They all just looked so good and I was just so hungry! He then handed me the drink and told me what it was. A Non-Fat Steamed Milk with Smoked Butterscotch flavoring. He guaranteed me that Id be sleeping like a baby by the time I got home! Then he saw the sugary treats I had picked out and said something to the effect, "Or you can eat all that sugar and repaint the entire inside of your home tonight!" I laughed so hard! I left with my book, my sweet treats and my Smoked Butterscotch Milk potion. Once back in the warmth of my car I tasted the drink and could not believe how good it was. I swear he had some kind of magical gift to look inside of me and find exactly what I needed. It is now my favorite hot drink to have on cold wintry days! Ill also add that now, if there is a book I want, before I go searching the web for it, Ill check with Barnes & Noble. 9 times out of 10 they have or can get the book for me for what the online book sellers have it priced at. There have been a couple of times that they couldnt find my book but then again neither could I when I searched the web.

Great book store but closing way too early for people who work late. Closes now at 9pm. on weekdays and 10pm. on Friday and Saturday nights. Would give 5 stars if they stayed open till 11pm. at least on weekends and 10 pm. thru the week. Most of the staff is strictly business and dont care what happens to you out in their parking lot. They fail to address safety issues no matter how many time you report it and upper management at corporate level is even worse. If you want to get it done, you have to do it yourself. Some of the store managers have been really nasty, condescending people over there years. One even accused me of stealing a book that I had purchased on the Internet that had no bar code. I was a regular customer since the day the store opened 20 years ago. What an idiot.

Spend a fair amount of time here as my wife works nearby. In a world of online book shopping (me included), it is nice to take an old-fashioned browse. The cafe is particularly nice and a good place to hang out and get things done with books all around. Only gripe (and a common one for us techy-types)? Not many outlets in the cafe!

Closest bookstore, have no other choice since Borders closed. Limited selection but will order for delivery to your home. But that kind of defeats the purpose, doesnt it. Am saddened when shopping at lack of selection(everywhere).

I really enjoy coming here. Very relaxing atmosphere and staff has always been helpful when needed. I wish they stayed open later since I usually come here in the evening. The cafe has excellent hot chocolate.

Horrible customer service. Before having a book thrown to me that I bought, he told me abruptly, "remove your card and go." Had I known he would be that rude, I wouldve went elsewhere.

They are terrible regarding refunds. Be 100% sure you want an item prior to purchase! Not friendly about working with customer. Dissatisfaction with staff, store, and service.

Great atmosphere and good for a browse and coffee. However traditional pricing and book stores in general seem to be extremely overpriced compared to the online marketplace.
