Unbelievable. The counter I needed wasnt finished on one side so I had to special order. I paid 20 times (literally) the price of the in stock for one tiny laminate edge. Then we waited in line for 20 minutes to check out, before going to the back to pick up our other countertops. We waited in back for 15 minutes before a gentlemen came carrying a broken countertop out to me. I told him it was broke and I wasnt taking that. He acted as of he hadnt noticed it was broke (pretty hard to miss) then he disappeared again.... 25 minutes later he came out with one of the two pieces, and said that they were out of the other one. The broken one was the only one they had. They would call me in about 12 days. I told them they needed to find another store that had one. The found one in Altoona, but I had to go back into the store and get a refund and then go buy it again from the other store. 2 1/2 hours later Im on my way home with one of three counterops. Unbelievable. Thank you Menards for taking $400 in exchange for being completely useless.

I live nearby, and I used to be in here three to four times a week, but as time has passed I have found myself going a little further down the road to Home Depot because I value my time. The checkout times have gotten notably worse over the course of the last few years and Menards is now on par with the southside Walmart when the Walmart self-checkout isnt available. I still stop in a time or two a week because they have good prices on equipment. The employees could be more available, but try to be helpful when you get one flagged down. My main issue is with their checkouts. It is not uncommon for lines to take 7-10 minutes to navigate, and I have abandoned my cart more than a couple times when they werent staffed appropriately. It shouldnt take 10 minutes to buy a bottle of Round-up weed killer. About 25-35% of the time, especially when a yard trip is required, it has been less of a headache to take my invoice down the road to Home Depot where they will price match and I wont have the wait.

I have been shopping Menards S 14th ST for 12 years now and have come to rely upon their departmental expertise in building trades to answer any questions I might have in my own citywide handyman business. I consider it my home store and prefer to shop their because of the good feeling I get. Their customer service is exceptional and the management is obviously top notch due to the smiles and helpful attitudes of the employees each and every time I visit; Which is every day, sometimes more. I recommend this store to everyone!

Poor service!! Receiving wouldnt!?/couldnt help, hardware wouldnt/couldnt help so I and a carry out guy went to mezzanine and got my order that was supposed to be pulled last Friday and took it up through checkout line with out any customer service from Hardware Department or receiving department! Poor service!! Not happy camper!!!

Menards is always a great store. This one was a bit sub-par when I visited. It seemed like a lot of the staff were irritated or didnt want to be there. This is vastly different from other Menards that Ive been to. Perhaps its poorly managed. I still recommend Menards, this was just my experience.

Returns and exchanges counter rude and didnt help me AT ALL ...... They didnt know how to look up bar code to do a exchange , Matter of fact ripped me off about 30$.... All other staff very helpful

Carts all over parking lot because people too lazy to put in cart corrals....suggest moving corrals closer to bldg--maybe 3 or 4 parking spots away from bldg then possibly people would use them.

Filthy womens bathrooms. The toilet seats definitely needs a good scrubbing. My advice is go to the bathroom before you go to Menards.
