I had a gray screen issue with my MacBook Pro. It was intermittently losing functionality, so thought I may have a software, or worse hard drive issue. I took it into Computer Evolution and they were very helpful. The representative ran a diagnostic and PRAM reset at no charge. The service rep even took the time to give advice about maintenance and other care issues I was unaware of. After the rep ran a diagnostic, which came back inconclusive, he performed the PRAM reset. This seems to have resolved the issue. The service was great and I really felt they had my best interest in mind when recommending any future services. I am grateful for the quick help and the fact that they did everything they could for just a drop in. I really appreciate the service and would recommend any Mac user in the QC area to use Computer Evolution.

I went there to compare prices on Power Supplies between big box stores and locally owned stores. Of course, the prices were higher. That didnt really bother me much. But, they only keep 2 types of 1 brand of Power Supplies in stock. 430w and 750w. I was looking for about a 600-650w, so I wasnt willing to shell out an additional 40 bucks for power I dont need. The main in-the-backroom tech told me that I needed the 750w. See-ing through his BS, I was rather frustrated that he insisted that I needed the 750w for my computer specifications. In my 5 minute visit, this is what I gathered: The store smelled strange, the sales rep knew nothing, the tech wont agree with you, even if youre right and they are extremely understocked.

Brian and Gabe are awesome! They did IT work for my office and my son brought his tower in to upgrade it. Brian stayed late to go over everything with my son and made sure he got everything he wanted. They are very knowledgeable and I trust them completely. We will go to them for all of our computer needs. Best store in the QC!

This is the most knowledgeable store in the QC when it comes to computers. Even though I no longer live int he QC I still send my family there for all their computer issues. Also if you want a gaming computer and local service this is really the only store in the QC to go to.

Took my computer in because the hard disk went bad and I lost my OS. Being new to computers they walked me thru how to install Linux and even burned me a copy. I appreciate the time they took to work with me even though they made nothing from it.
