Worse customer service ever! They are not truthful, disrespectful and told me 2 different lies about my Red iPhone 7. The young lady working said she was sending my iPhone out that afternoon to be repaired at the Apple Depot. But instead they kept my phone for their in-house tech to open up 4 days after I dropped it off. They ended up sending my phone to the Apple Depot for repairs. Waited another week without any updates on my phone. I called Apple customer service to locate my iPhone which took me several hours on the phone to get answers. Apple stated my phone was being repaired and they would expedite it back to Mac HD by the end of the week. I called Mac HD, they said my phone wasnt delivered. I called Apple customer service to get a tracking number and the Apple dispatcher stated it was delivered to Mac HQ on 08-02-17, signed by D Burns. I called Mac HQ again, spoke to Derrick, he did sign for my phone but he stated that it wasnt my original phone and would not release it to me since it was a different serial no. They lost my phone and tried charging $800.00 for a new one. I had to call back Apple back and dispute the $800.00 charge which Apple stated it was their error. I would not let Mac HD them fix my tinker toy.

After years of being happy with Mac HQ in CR, Ive never felt so compelled to reverse my opinion of a business ever. Simple to resolve issue, I purchased a Speck case for my Macbook Pro and a little over three weeks later it broke in two places and started getting cracks in the corners. Stopped into Mac HQ trusting they would stand by their customers. Nope. Some young punk behind the counter wouldnt even look at it. "Sorry, return policy is 14 days, and youre now at 31 days. Try calling Speck." After all the business Ive done with Mac HQ and countless referrals its really sad to see a good business go down hill. Unless they get their people in check, I expect theyll be out of business in a few years. Its not about the $50 bucks I wasted on a Speck case, its about the fact that they wont stand behind their customers. Makes my blood boil. Never going back and will never recommend them to anyone ever again.

I am hopeful that my next experience with the store goes much better. I would highly recommend that if you make an appointment with Apple Support for certified service through MacHQ, that you confirm that someone will be there to work on your equipment. iPhone 6 battery needed replacement per Apple Diagnostics. Okay, Ill make an appointment for 6:40 to have that done. Not a lengthy process. However, the certified Apple Technician is not there after 6:00. Great to know after making a 2.5 hour round trip drive to have it fixed. I will also contact Apple. Terrible first experience. Although apologetic, sounded like this was not the first time.

First time I tried talking my laptop here they could not help me because they do not have techs on the weekend. Second time I took my laptop to Mac HQ they had it for a week total, they told me there was brown liquid damage. It would cost $900 to fix, about the same as a new computer. I was unclassified with the customer service and response, so mailed it to the apple store and 3 days later they had my laptop fixed: replaced board logic and cables. Be careful before accepting Mac HQs advice and if you send your laptop to them, be sure to tell them to have it assembled, which they do not do on the weekends.

My son (and my mom) went to try and fix his phone with our cell phone carrier and were unable to get any real help but they did refer him. They offered to sell him a new phone, of course, and then mentioned he could try MacHQ to see if they might be able to fix his i-Phone5c that was not "connecting" to the Apple servers. They stopped in at Mac HQ and the staff were SUPER!!!! The repair/reset my sons iPhone in less than five minutes at no charge. Staff was very knowledgeable, kind and didnt try to up-sell my son and his grandma. Great service!!!

After reading reviews here I was hesitant to go to MacHQ. However, my experience was great and I would recommend them! I had questions about my MacBook Pro, particularly the battery. Travis was able to answer them, check the battery, update a couple things for me, and answer some questions about my iPad as well. He was nice, efficient, and charged my nothing for his time and service :) Sorry to hear others have had bad experiences, but I will not hesitate to go back if I need to.

Ive used their service department several times now, and each time Ive come away with an excellent experience! They have some really knowledgeable Mac technicians on staff. Ive been able to call and ask simple technical questions (like how do I remove the stand from my later model iMac) and got a clear, concise and extremely pragmatic response. I would recommend them highly to anyone who has a MacBook or iMac and needs service.

Had the store do a simple repair on the MacBook. I got to the store at 8pm when the store was closing. I was walking up to the door as the employee was locking up. After making eye contact he proceeded to lock up quicker and walked away. I knocked a few times on the all glass door and he pretended he couldnt hear me. To say the least Im not impressed with him not acknowledging I was there and wont use their service again.

Took my MacBook Pro in and was told that it wasnt able to be repaired for less than it would be to get a used MacBook. Not thinking it was worth anything I gave it to my sister-in-law and said good luck, she was able to have it completely repaired in a matter of hours for $100. Needless to say, not happy with my experience.

My wife has been having issues with her iPhone 5s. Didnt even know the store was there until I visited the online Apple repair site. They went out of their way to address the issues (at no charge) and explained what we needed to do to resolve it. Very helpful staff.

East Iowas Apple Store! Came in with iPhone not turning on and left in five mins with it working perfectly! Staff was very knowledgeable about Apple products and was able answer questions I had about Macs.

Great staff and great service. Had to get the battery replaced in my iPhone and they were able to do it quickly. Even got a little bit of advice on a storage problem I was having. Thanks again!
