Earlier this week, the rear window of my car was shattered by a rock thrown at it in the Target parking lot. I spoke with a member of the staff that had access to the "security" footage and, then, called the police. It turned out that nothing was caught on the video. There are no cameras in the parking lot and my car was hidden from cameras mounted on the store. In addition, the recorded video is not subject to zoom. The bottom line is that Target is protecting their store, but not the parking lot. To make things more frustrating, someone called the store to tell them they had witnessed a rock being thrown in the parking lot, but the staff member who took the call did not get a name or number so the police could follow-up. Target did not throw the rock, but they did nothing to help the police or me identify who did. For those who care, it turns out that Kohls has an excellent video security system with high resolution and zoom capabilities. Thats where I will shop in the future.

One star for Team Member Daniel at the Ames Target. He was loud, obnoxious, and not a great representation of the store. As I walked in, I could hear him talking loudly about how everything was "garbage". After I checked out, I needed to make a separate transaction for a photo. I pushed the button for help, and he came over. He appeared to be very annoyed, like I was troubling him. He then told me that from now on, if I have a picture to pick up, just pick up first then go through a cashiers lane. He was very condescending. He made sure to point to the area that was apparently "self serve" to customers for the photo dept. He needs to be coached on some customer service.

I love Target like most people and usually spend 2 hours in here at a time, but today my visit was especially more pleasant than usual! I was buying a lot of stuff for my new home and I came to Toms register with the mother load of items and my shopping cart was overflowing. Tom was very patient and even let me know about the Cartwheel app and guided me through scanning every single item to make sure I got all the sweet discounts! Even after the transaction he noticed an item was charged twice and let me know right away and guided me to the guest services to have it corrected. Tom deserves a raise. You go, Tom!!

They stock my wifes third favorite Kombucha for reasonable prices. They used to have something called "Clever food scrambles" that was pretty good. The employees have always been very helpful. All in all, theyre a Target, and a slightly better than average example of the brand.

Whenever Ive needed help finding something, theres always an employee right where i need them, and theyre always super helpful! The only thing that would make this Target better is if it were a Super Target!

Management care about the guests and employees. This target is involved with supporting numerous local charities and other local organizations. Newly remodeled electronics and apparel areas are also nice.

Prices are ok. Restrooms are not usually clean. Employees are not friendly especially at check-out. They need to learn how to smile and greet people. I think Walmart employees are much more friendlier!

It was better than walmart, but now that theyre doing a bunch of political stuff Im going to stay away for a while. I mean dude Im just trying to buy groceries, not take a stand on political issues.

Specific shopping trip for some staple items. Im very familiar with the store and it was a quick stop. Store is very well organized, clean and it has fair prices for the products I was purchasing.

This target has a strange layout. I has only one main entrance/exit, instead of tow sets of entrance/exits. I like the layout though, its just more like a sams club lay out but also not

Much smaller and less selection than the Super Target Im used to. Dont do a good job of keeping a lot of the things I need stocked. Have to go to HyVee or ALDI to get those things.

Excellent customer service and better prices than other box stores. You can actually find and get help when needed in the store. I cant say that with other box stores.

Jayne suggested I use the Cartwheel app at checkout and then showed me how to change the settings so it would be more efficient. Very friendly and helpful employees!

It is a normal target. Its like Walmart and Hy-Vee had a baby, that was less terrible to their employees than walmart, but gets hacked occasionally.

The best place to shop for baby stuff.....but the produce and grocery section is a joke. Its more so of an isle for pre package salad products.

Clean store with pharmacy, Starbucks, and full grocery section. I give it 5 stars because my wife is addicted and goes at least twice a week.

Love using my red card and cartwheel to get the best deals. Great place to stock up on diapers and dog food when there is a gift card deal.
