On June 5th I was searching Target Stores for a swim suit my Granddaughter found at Jordan Creek Target but they did not have her size. We checked the AMES Target with no luck. We were checking the store in Ankeny but could not find it and decided to check the dressing room area in desperation before we went to Jordan Creek to at least get the brand and maybe some numbers to find it online. Right away a VERY helpful employee in the dressing room area (blonde with a ponytail on top I hate that I didnt get her name) said can I help you? We explained what we were doing and said was it, she said the brand, and Savannah said yes. She proceeded to search her phone for a pic. SHE FOUND IT! She didnt stop there. She took us to the customer service desk and made sure to walk me through ordering it online. Were not done yet. When searching for a store that had her size she did a search far and wide finding it in Minneapolis. WOW! It will be delivered by Friday. Just in time for their trip to Cosemel on Monday. Thank you Target employee for making a 12 yr olds day. If you know who I talked to please tell her she made grandmas day too

OMG I cant believe how great the employees are! They went out of their way to help me get an item. I live in IL and found the item at this store (where my in-laws live). They were so nice to pull items and put them at guest services to make it easy for my MIL to pick them up. However, when they found that one item that was supposed to be on the shelf was not there, they called another store and the Ankeny employee drove to another store to get it so it would be there for my MIL. I still cant believe how amazing that was. They went way above and beyond! Thank you!

Love target but especially love this location. It is one of the cleaniest targets Ive been in. The staff is always so friendly. The one thing Id like to see improved is, have the self check-out on both ends and have them open all the time . Yesterday I was there at 5pm and they werent open, I had to wait in line to purchase my two items I stooped by for, would have been nice to just self check out .

Shopping was great, lots of good finds. The mart cart I had to use was not sufficient for shopping the store. It died in the middle of shopping to the point it slowly creeped to the checkout. I asked an employee if he would bring me another, and he shyly grinned, so I kept on creeping. Could have bought more stuff if I could have shopped. Employee at self checkout was very kind and friendly.

Not my favorite Target. There is a man at the customer service desk that is horrible. For a return he asked if it was ok to go back on a card and I said no. He said "Oh sorry I already did it." Why ask if you arent going to listen to my response? This has happened twice. The returns were for less than $5 - I dont want to wait a week to have it in my bank account so Id rather have cash...

My wife and I went to do some Christmas shopping tonight at Target. While driving home I looked at the receipt and noticed the items seemed a bit higher in price. Looked online for the few items we bought and sure enough we were over charged by $23.31!!! Needless to say we went back to the store and got our money back. Lesson of the day check your receipt! !

This is where we go when we need the stuff they carry at a Target. Its a lot like Walk-Mart but I think their stock just a touch nicer (marketing...? maybe). This location is a Super Target I believe, meaning they also carry grocery items. Target doesnt carry everything (unlike Amazon) but if you need it right now they can usually deliver.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses through the Optical center in the Ankeny Target. The customer service there was fantastic! All of the employees were very helpful. The employee that helped me the most was Jamie. She was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me to find exactly what I wanted. I will definitely return in the future.

This store is chronically understaffed. The self-checkout system is poorly designed and doesnt handle certain products well at all. During my last visit the machine demanded an attendant twice. The second time the attendant never showed up to clear it, so I had to walk out without my stuff.

For a typically pretty busy place, the associates are quite polite and willing to help if you need to find something, there always seems to be enough check-out lanes open to accommodate the crowd (this is something walmart could take example from) - couldnt be happier.

The size of the location is a bit deceptive to whats available within. The aisles are spaced pretty widely. The food from the cafe was undercooked. Wife said that womens restroom was very dirty. Good selection in grocery and food section though.

I will not be spending any money at Target! Their policy is to allow transgenders to use opposite sex restrooms which will potentially put children in danger. This is a poor decision by Target pandering to the liberal masses. Disgusting!!!!!

This target has a pretty good selection of just about anything. Its usually well maintained as well. Although recently I was looking for a duster with replaceable heads (preferably Swiffer) and was surprised that they didnt have any.

Compared to the target in Ames and the one near Johnston it seems to have far less for options. Cartwheel is nice for discounts and the fact that their app points out where product is located is a lifesaver.

I like target because its a little less crowded and has alot nicer/cleaner looking products than Wal Mart. WM still beats Target on groceries but thats about it.

The layout of this store was much more confusing and scattered than other Targets Ive visited. They still had a good selection once you found the right aisle

Big, clean Super Target with a coffee shop built in it. My only complaint is that they could use more cashiers during their peak times.
