I will describe my situation as best as I can for all who see this and are interested in this dealership. After researching the car I was interested in online I took a leap and decided to visit this dealership since this was my first used car buying experience I tried to learn as much as I could about the vehicle I was interested in. Upon arrival I was greeted by a salesman named Steve who I previously talked to on the phone about the vehicle I was interested in, he was considerate and polite (typical of any sales person). But when asking detailed questions about the vehicle, his answers were vague and had no vehicle knowledge what so ever, which doesnt make much sense in my opinion. I clearly and repeatedly asked questions about mechanical problems and if the vehicle had any check engine light faults or any other diagnostic issues, which he replied no. Due to my engineering background I took the liberty to run an OBD scanner on the vehicle and found a pending stored fault code pertaining to the emissions system (pending as in the fault code is intermittent and will not always be illuminated on the dash). After discovering this I promptly asked Steve about it which in reply told me that it was a known issue and would happily take it to a chevy dealer to have it worked on. That was my first suspicion and felt that this was "swept under the rug" but I gave the benefit of the doubt since the issue was minor and I really was interested in the vehicle. To fast forward the story after the vehicle was purchased, THE DAY IT WAS DROVE OFF THE LOT, I noticed that when shifting into 5th gear (manual transmission) at low RPM shifts the result would be slight grinding, popping out of gear at times. Which immediately put me on alert because during the test drives I did not notice the issue. After a couple weeks of contacting and diagnosing potential issues with other more experienced individuals it was concluded that the likely cause was a bad 5/6 synchronizer in the transmission. At which point I contacted Steve and thats when the wild goose chase began. I spend the next 3-4 weeks calling explaining the situation only to be told "Ill call you back later/tomorrow/ect." And which would result in me having to always call back until finally I was told to just bring the car back to the "dealers mechanic" which just told me that it could be taken to a machine shop to get the transmission fixed. At this point I was tired, frustrated, spend alot of time and resources trying to find out the issue, when the whole time I felt like the problem was "swept under the rug" For the buyer to have to deal with. I finally went above Steve after being fed up with speaking with this individual, it just seemed like once you payed for the car there would be no assistance after that. I got a hold of Chris Williams the GM at this dealer, explained my story, and also mentioned that I found and scheduled an appointment with a specialist who was also a licensed dealer of the transmission in my vehicle. After another couple thousand in repairs the vehicle was shifting like new and the way it should be. I sadly was only refunded 50% of the repair costs when I strongly felt it was the dealers job to pay for all of it, due to the fact that it was a CONFIRMED pre-existing condition when I bought the vehicle. However, I wont rant to much about this, I love the car though after all of it, runs and drives great, but overall about this story is I just didnt feel treated fairly after all the work I had to do on my part to get the ball rolling on the vehicle repairs. I wont lie though I perhaps should have done a better job at inspecting the transmission during the test drive but I really thought I could have been treated much better and fairly. In conclusion I really love the car now that is have been fixed but I cant personally recommend this place so shop here at your own will, inspect the vehicles THOROUGHLY, you do not want to have to go through the hassle I had to.

We have purchased two vehicles so far from Whitewater Motor. We were very pleased with both of our purchases! We never felt uncomfortable or like we were being pressured into buying and the entire staff was very friendly! We also take both of our vehicles to Whitewater Motor for service. Not only do they get us right in but they also have us in and out within a reasonable amount of time. Just one of the many positive experiences we have had dealing with Whitewater Motor. The Kia I purchased from them is still under warranty. My back up camera began only working half of the time. I immediately called Tobey in the service dept. and asked if he could take a look at it and fix it. Since my car is under warranty, he suggested I take it to a Kia dealer since that route would be free. I made an appointment with the Kia dealer and they stated I would have to wait 2-3 hours for the camera to be fixed and wouldn’t offer me a car to drive, but told me I would need to wait while the job was completed. So Whitewater Motor arranged for someone to take my car to the Kia dealer for me and gave me a car to drive while my car got fixed! Now that’s great service. It’s so refreshing to find a dealership willing to go above and beyond for their customers. I truly feel they will do anything they can to make sure you are satisfied. Great atmosphere, great people, great experience. I would highly recommend everyone go to WWM for all their vehicle wants or needs and experience the top notch service this dealership gives to all of its customers!

It comes that time when the wife needed a new car to haul the kids around to and from dance, soccer, Girl Scouts, school, swimming, cooking classes, tutoring, and probably a few I dont know about. So we stopped into Whitewater Motors since we bought our previous car from them before, there new location is very nice had a place for our kids to sit and play on there iPads with wifi which entertained them while we looked at cars. My wife wanted a SUV since that is what she had before, I wanted to get her a minivan since their cheaper, better gas mileage, and more practical for a family with kids and we have no need for all wheel/4 wheel drive as we live in the south now. Picked up a 2014 Town and Country loaded: leather, heated seats front and back, heated steering wheel, entertainment for the kids, and tons of safety features for a great price. The sales staff was very helpful and not pushy at all which is a requirement for when I buy anything I dont play that game. They figured out all the sales tax stuff and everything I need to register the car in North Carolina which is a lot different that hear in the Midwest. All in all it was a great buying experience and my lovely wife loves her minivan which she said years before would never happen!

These guys are the best! Gary was very patient with all of my test-driving, and I never felt pressured. They went above and beyond to get me great financing options and the entire process was friendly and smooth. I drove away in the exact car I had been searching months for, and Gary was very accommodating with the few minor fixes I requested. We were referred to Whitewater Motors by a family that has purchased 3 cars from this group and now I can see why. We will definitely be back!
