I doubt the majority of these reviews are accurate (i.e. they seem to by dummy accounts created by W.A.C.D.) , it seems highly unlikely that so many customers are happy when my Mothers experience has been so abominable. They have charged her hundreds of dollars for problems I could have easily have solved myself, with my MEDIOCRE knowledge of computers. They have downloaded "helpful materials" and charged her copiously (like three years of unlimited backup storage for a 6 yr old laptop with an i3 processor, Id be surprised if that device could make it through six more months). In Retail, when a device has useless downloaded materials, we call this "bloatware", this is essentially the same thing. This place is a RIPOFF, its like the bottled water of computer repair. This is the only one star review I have ever given and this place is most certainly deserving.

Horrible experience trying to get a simple quote for SSD health diagnosis. Very obtuse customer service, very smugly rude as well. I only wanted them to plug in my SSD and verify that it registered as a working drive. WACD wanted $125/hr, and then if they found something wrong with the drive, they would charge an additional $100 if I didnt want them to "fix" it. (not sure how they think theyre going to "fix" a non-functioning SSD). That held true even when I asked if I would be charged the fee simply for a diagnosis of any issue. Simply ridiculous. Elite Computer Networks on Detroit said they would do that for free, so I guess Ill go there LOL. I know where I WONT be going for any IT help, but where Ill be actively discouraging others to use....

A few months ago, I received a phone call from someone from a very well known computer affiliate, whom he claimed to be from Microsoft. He proceeded to convince me that he was going to help me with any questions I may have had with my computer and software. Well I believed his what seemed to be “honest” business intentions. Basically by the end of the conversation he tried to convince me, my computer was extremely slow, which it was not, and I needed to purchase a Virus protection package, I said "no thank you”. called WACD and spoke to Nick. I had to shut down my computer and Nick was able to restore my computer without any trace of a SCAM or virus. Thank you WACD and Nick

WACD LLC is a professional team that is capable of handling all computer issues. Being a "non computer" person I have plenty of questions as well as needs with computer use. They have assisted with my computer needs at work and home. They have been courteous, helpful, competent and willing to answer any question I have regardless how simple. Plus they are fun to work with as they do have a good sense of humor and a strong business integrity. They keeping up to date with all that is happening in the computer industry so I now I can trust their advice to keep my computers protected and functioning at its best. I strongly recommend them for computer purchases and maintenance.

When my laptop lost its sound I took it back to staples since I had a warranty with them. They could not help me because it needed to be opened up & they couldnt do that. I heard of WACD a new company that was just opening up. I took my laptop to them and they opened it up and after several attempts to repair they found the parts were no longer available. I settled with the warranty people but needed to buy a new computer. WACD took the time to find out what I needed and have now replaced my computer. I love this new computer. We are thankful and pleased with W.A.C.D. and the services we recently received for our computer that had several issues. Very patient, friendly, knowledgeable, dependable, capable, honest...so appreciate a place like this....it is important to feel comfortable and confident in leaving a computer somewhere to get serviced, if placed in the wrong hands so many things can happen, security issues, bank accounts...I made this mistake before....complete opposite with W.A.C.D., thank you so much, W.A.C.D. is our go to and highly recommend to all without hesitation.

My recent experience with W.A.C.D., LLC was very good. My Dell laptop basically crashed before my eyes while writing a simple email. Dell couldnt help over the phone, and could not get a tech to me for at least a week. I was leaving very soon for over a week on business and couldnt wait. I found W.A.C.D. online and decided to call them based on good reviews. I was not disappointed. They had my laptop up and running in less than 24 hours and kept me updated along the way. I will definitely use them again if the need arises, and highly recommend them.

The computer team at WACD, LLC is helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. As an author, I have fifteen years of data stored in my computer, so I guard my computer closely. Its my life. I know I can call WACD and get help in a timely manner, and thats important to me. They relieve my anxiety and work with me on fixing my computer issues. I highly recommend going somewhere else. We purchased a laptop computer there less than a year ago and paid extra for an extended warranty. The screen on the laptop flickers off and on so bad that you have to open and shut it for the screen to come back to normal. After taking it back to them they wanted to charge a bench testing fee of 100 to diagnose the problem. This company will not take care of you after the purchase. Beware the prior reviews on this site many are from themselves using various dummy accounts.

My laptop crashed, and after trying to self-repair I knew it needed professional help! So I googled computer repair shops and W.A.C.D. was listed first with great reviews. I wasnt disappointed! Dennis and his team have great customer service, can-do-attitudes and worked very diligently to recover my data and to get my laptop back up and running in a timely and affordable manor. I had a Mac Powerbook and an old iMac that needed to be checked. You got the Powerbook going but the old iMac seems to have the motherboard fried. Thank you for keeping us in the loop during the process so we knew our options. Even though I thought Dennis was "wacked out" for choosing that name, I appreciate your fast, friendly and professional service along with the patience and respect that you showed to customer who is definitely not computer-savy .
