Short version: their tech completely misdiagnosed the problem and would not give a refund of the trip fee. When talking to the tech about getting a refund, he insisted the other service company was to blame. Avoid them. Long version: We have a 4 year old whirlpool fridge. SS, freezer on bottom, nice model. The ice-maker stopped working and we suspected we might have had cooling problems as well. A PCS tech was able to come out soon after our initial call to them, maybe with a day or two. Their tech arrived, looked at the ice maker, took the freezer racks out and looked at the coils. The coils did not have an even frost pattern and he said this almost always indicates a closed system coolant leak. He said it would be up to $300 to tap into the unit and verify the pressure of the coolant system. He recommended we just buy a new refrigerator. I didnt feel comfortable with that diagnosis. I posted pictures of the frost pattern on an appliance forum and had a guy say he didnt that a pattern that looked like mine indicated a closed system leak. I called out another company and they tapped into the system for about $80 (plus a trip fee) and confirmed it was not a coolant problem. Long story short, we finally found it we didnt have a cooling problem at all and it was just a bad ice maker. I called PCS to ask for a refund of the $75 trip fee I gave them. The tech eventually called me back and insisted his diagnosis was correct. He even insinuated that the other company must have filled the fridge with coolant, even though I assured him I watched most of what they did and never saw a coolant tank involved. Hate to leave negative feedback, but this was a bad experience. Avoid them.

I should be able to rate this as 0 stars! Definitely unprofessional in their approach and very flakey. Similar experiences as the others. Not able to actually show up on time. Had to order a part after they finally came to look at my range. Said it would take 7-10 business days for them to get the part. I called and asked a different appliance repair place about this and was told that they should be able to pick up the part in town and have it done much sooner than that. Needless to say, the part supposedly took 12 business days to show up. We called multiple times a day to try to get updates and nobody ever answered the phone. Once they showed up to finally fix the range they got the part in, then the guy had to call his home office to see how much it would cost. We overheard his conversation and he obviously had no clue and there wasnt a set rate. I WILL NEVER CALL THESE PEOPLE AGAIN...HORRIBLE!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Should have listened to the other people!!!!!!! Sat on my butt for two days waiting for these SO CALLED professionals to come look at my dishwasher that I bought at HH Gregg. Christie stated they would call 30 min prior to arrival NOT. First day appointment 12:00-3:00 I called them around 3:40 still in louisville, Ky. Rescheduled, (my mistake) giving them the benefit of the doubt, for this morning 9-12 time frame. So I could get done early. LMAO I called at 12:20 to see where they were. Still 30 min or more away. CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT. Pretty crappy not to be advised on them running behind twice!!!!!!! I GUESS THE CONSUMERS TIME ISNT AS IMPORTANT AS THEIRS. Going to try another company now. Anything has to be better than them. Next time Ill listen to the reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst service ever. Estimated time of repair 4-7pm. No one shows by 645pm. Call their "office" and the lady was not really sure who gave us those hours because the store was not technically open. Explained that my husband had called earlier, she suddenly remembered but told me that he (I guess the repair man) had to wait til she got back from the grocery store. Long story short, called at 930pm and explained we were still waiting and no one had called to update us. The ladys response: well, I dont have to call to update you because you all have called 4-5 times"...well pardon me for blowing up your phone. Dont waste your time calling them. Worst business skills ever.

Bought a used washer/dryer from this appliance store 10 years ago 2005, today my washer stopped. Called for an app., within 45 minutes a knock at my door. He was professional, found problem right away and charged I thought accordingly. My son bought washer/dryer from this place 12 years ago. The man said new washer/dryers are electronic now, the unit is taken off and sent to the makers of that product. Shipping fees can be costly if you want next day! I think this place is honest, Very good in repair/rebuild at a good price!

Had them come to my home to repair a refrigerator and freezer. They "had to take them to the shop". Never returned them, never answered calls. When stopping in, always waiting on something. Its been 6 months - these guys are not honest and I believe they sold my appliances. Taking action.

Very helpful and knowledgeable tech was able to assist me over the phone. I was assured that they had the part I needed to fix my dryer. Sure enough I got what I needed for $35 less than their competitors. More than fair prices. Great local business

Not impressed. We called and was told he would be there between 1 and 3. Never arrived, never called. We called and left a message asking if they were coming. Nothing. Wish I had read the reviews before we called.

Experience was awful. Set an appointment with them three times over the course of a week and they were a no show all three times. Not only a no show but a no call no show. Would not recommend them.

Charged my wife $200 for a compressor start relay. 65/hr. For labor, ok, but 200 total is a rip off. They took advantage of us. Do not use them. These people dont even deserve a star.

This company is a nightmare. If theres a review with more than one star here, its because theyre writing them themselves. I repeat... This. Company. Is. A. Nightmare.

Never showed up for scheduled appointments. After rescheduling twice with them they never bothered to call or show up either time. I would avoid them.

PCS came to our home. Their technician never identified the issue or ever called us back. We paid $60 service fee for nothing.
