I came into Lake Cycle looking to buy a slightly used motorcycle to replace my old one. I was served by Dan, who was very friendly and helpful. I found a bike, picked out and bags and a back rest. Once we started the paperwork and I handed them my deposit, everything shifted and it was like I wasnt even there. I ended spending over 3 and a half hours total hours waiting. I will give them credit for trying to make the situation work, BUT i have truly never felt that my time was less valuable to a store, they didn care that I sat there waiting for so long, I I went in prepared to but a bike, but left without a bike, and a very very unhappy customer. My family and I had been buying motorcycle parts from Lake Cycle from years, and had always felt that they had as good as service as anyone. After my experience today, I will never set foot in that place again without some form of an apology.

Worst dealership ever. Kevin the GM is the worst customer service person ever. He rapes you on the sale then doesnt know who you are when you need service. All around worst place to buy a Honda from. Took advantage of my 80 year old parents when buying a ruckus for their grandchild. But when he needs a Honda part or service for his daughters CR-V he makes sure you know he "OWNS" Lake Honda. Another cheap ass wanna be dealer with no service dept for their own product. Do not buy from them! They treat you like god until you sign the bill of sale then after they forget who you are...plenty of better Honda dealers in northwest Indiana.

I was a fairly new rider when I stopped by Lake Cycle. For months after the ink dried on my license, I had researched the bike I wanted and saved money for a down payment. I wanted a 2016 Honda NC700X ABS/DCT. After visiting several Honda dealers, none of them had the bike in stock and some were down right rude. Lake had the bike in stock although I wasnt sure I was ready to buy that day. Lisa came up, introduced herself, asked me questions about what I was looking for and made me feel comfortable and I was able to buy my first bike with confidence.

I was in this store recently looking to purchase a used bike. The bike they had listed was highly overpriced which was expected and i tried negotiating. We worked out a verbal agreement and i went home to get the money for the purchase and when i came back, they told me the price wouldnt work. I asked to speak to the manager, Kevin, who i was told was "too swamped to come out and talk". I believe this is just terrible customer service. I say do your reaearch on whatever motorcycle youre looking to purchase so you dont get ripped off by this company.

Illinois motorcycle dealers should learn a thing or two from Lake Cycle specially the Illinois Honda dealers . I swear I will never buy a bike from any other dealership except Lake Cycle and I make it point to tell all my friends where to go for their new bike. Im writing this review on my own accord. “Jared was very helpful when we brought our 4-wheeler in late afternoon on a Friday night. He started trouble shooting right away. Our Wench wasnt working properly for our snow blade. It was fixed within a few hours and ready to go. We never hesitate to take our 4-wheeler in to the service shop for any maintenance or problems. Always a great experience and prices are descent for the labor too. We are very happy we got in quickly and have our snow blade ready for upcoming snow! Thank you!”

Came in to have a tire which I purchased online put on my Harley. There was a spill or something in the service area and my wait time was longer than what he told me. The owner knew I had other obligations so without hesitation he tosses me his keys and lets me use his car. Ive never met this man before in my life, but integrity goes a long way in my book sir. Thank you again sir, and thank you Lake Cycle! Will always praise this place.

I bought a couple of bikes from them, and the experience and employees were great. Ive gotten up and walked out of 2 dealers after getting the run around, and having the price go up after talking to someone on the phone. Id definitely buy from them again. The service department is also very good, and I doubt Id let anyone else work on my bike

Just had my bike serviced and could not be happier. The work was performed quickly and efficiently. Service manager Jerit is extremely helpful, knowledgable and answered all of my many questions. I brought my sons Predator 90cc in to Lake Cycle to see why it wouldnt run. Come to find out, the motor was pretty much shot. The guys in service at Lake Cycle fixed it quickly and at a great price. It runs better than it ever had! Thanks for a great job, even on a model that wasnt a Honda!

They work with you and seem to have many accessories. The prices are ok but not competitive. They use to have bike runs and have since stopped. This is a big negative as many other dealers have them. Basically, I would not purchase a bike from them.

The Service Dept . was good on both tires they did for me and Robin was good on help filling out the tire insurance form and Kevin was good when I brought the Bike from Him and Lisa too.
