i have been to this store on a couple of occassions, on friday 10-15-2010 i was at goodwill looking around, i found a " Softback" cover book that I wanted to purchase, the signs above the book are " Hardback" 1.99 Soft back .69 cents. when i got to the register & my items were totaled, i knew i was overcharged. I ask what she charged me for this book, she stated 1.99, i said the sign said soft back books are .69 cents, , the reply was ridiculous, : I was told, any book, ( soft cover ) that has " CHAPTERS , in them are 1.99, I ve never heard of such a thing, come on people, what soft back have you ever read that doesnt have chapters? therfore i just left both items i was going to purchase there. you seem to be so afraid that you are going to lose .25 cents, had i found this book at the yard sale, prior to it being donated to you, to resll for crazy prices, i would have most likely paid 25 cents for the book, maybe less. i used to donate , now i give to the homeless, womens shelter, churches, who give my items to people who are in need. i overheard a few people stating how high the prices have gotten in the good will stores, you must make HUGE PROFITS, i do not appreciate what happened, you should have sold me the book for .69 cents, as it was marhed, that was wrong, i will not return, and i will tell everyone i know as well to be very careful . tou sell socks, 1.99 a pair, i can go to walmart & get a six pack for 4.00 get it together people, i always make sure i have hand sanitizer with me, as the smell is pretty bad also, cant you was the bedding prior to putting that sort of stuff on the line for sale, i was really concerned about BEDBUGS, AND who knows what , there was a time this was a good place to shop, i will stick to my local churches, where they open there doors and give people clothing who are in need, and the womens shelter, your stroe hasnt imopressed me for sometime now. AND REALLY PEOPLE THINK ABOUT IT, THE BOOK, YOU JUST COULFD NOT SELL THAT SOFTBACK BOOK FOR 69 CENTS LIKE THE SIGN SAID? I HAVE A GOOD MIND TO TO TURN THIS INTO THE BBB, I TOOK PHOTOS OF THE SIGN WITH MY CELL PHONE CAMERA. GET REAL, AND THAT WAS JUST UNCALLED FOR. YOU LOST A SALE, BECAUSE OF BEING DISHONEST.

I have been to this store numerous times!!! I love this store!!! It is so clean and organized, i have never been charged the wrong amount on products and the staff there is very willing to fix any problems that a customer may have. they are so devoted to their customers and everything being done correctly in their store. I have been to many other Goodwill stores like the one in Frankfort and that store could not dream of comparing to this store!! as i said, they are the cleanest, most organized store i have been to yet and believe me i love to shop all the Goodwill stores!! They have many managers that are devoted to getting to know the customers many times i have had them help me find something and they were always happy to do so! I have never ahd a bad experience at this location. as a matter of fact one night i was there another customer was upset with something and the manager took them aside so the other customers could continue checking out! This is a great store!! The only things are that sometimes the newer girl manager, Elizabeth is not always helpful she is rarely seen on sales floor and she is rude to some customers and i have even heard her scold employees on the sales floor, at least she has the chance through Goodwill to improve herself. THen there is that guy manager who is never ever wanting to help customers, he will walk right by and not even say hi how are you anything. The younger managers are better. But They will all hopefully make themselves better through this job. Now things have started changing in this store, there is a new manager I think her name is Pam, but she is not very polite to the customers, she is very short with her staff on the sales floor and she is rude over the intercom service.

Oh dear. Where to start. I love this store. They happen to have everything I need right when I need it for an amazing price. How can I complain? Thats fabulous. The prices are dirt cheap. An the quality of the items are great. They never put anything trashy on the sales floor and the only time Ive ever seen any problems with the place is due to customers letting their children be rowdy and demolish the place and they are never kind enough to put things back. (the adults-not children) Plus they always throw their trash on the floor. Its sad. But the cashiers are so nice. They become very familiar to the people who are regulars at the store and treat them with such a kindness its unreal. There are no other stores whos employees are as dedicated as that. None what-so ever. An as for this "mony" person who is crying about a lost 1.99. How old are we? Over a book? Really? A brand new book at a bookstore can be anywhere from that to higher. An youre complaining? You must be joking. An as for spreading terrible lies about such a great place. Wow. You are a terrible person. Miss Ill just give my stuff to the needy and the local churches. Blah blah blah. If you were really the type to do that you wouldnt be so greedy about 1.99. Do you know where that money goes? It goes to the school that Goodwill created for those who want a second chance in life. I hope that makes you realize the mistake you made. It goes to their SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!! So people can learn and better their lives. This store is wonderful as are the employees and I hope everyone keeps returning to shop and donate because they appreciate their customers. :)

As "Someone" reviewed this store I agree it is so clean and organized definitely. I always enjoy shopping at the Lebanon Goodwill Store. Unfortunately, Ive read "monys" review and I have to say whoever this person is, he/she is completely wrong in his/her assessment of the Lebanon store. First of all, we are so blessed to have this store in our city. I read the full review and definitely, "mony" needs to get a life since he/she is complaining about a measly difference of a $1.30 for a book. He/she went on about the odor in this store and Im going to have to disagree with this person. Believe me, I have been everywhere there is to be in this store and I must say there is definitely no bad odor. If youre going to spread lies about a shopping experience you have had at the LGS, you definitely need to get your facts straight before falsely telling everyone you know bad things about this store because there are no bad things. Sorry you were having such a bad day that day in October when you shopped there. Its a terrific place to shop and as far as shopping experiences go, everyone can be assured your shopping experience at the Lebanon Goodwill Store will be a happy one. Please dont let "mony" have any effect on you, go see for yourself and know that there are some people out there who take things out on others just because they have bad attitudes. Positively, the Goodwill Store in Lebanon is a super place to be.
