Over the years I have came in here off and on deciding on whether to buy a bike or not . Other than the young blondish guy who migrated over when Slyfox closed and the dark haired young fella who always works behind the counter they are all asses. They arent worried about grabbing a potential customer and really just have the mind state that the bikes will just sell themselves. Its fine really because I dont like to be bothered too much about stuff and usually they dont keep the elite machines. They fill the store up on middleweight "bread and butter" type machines . Most of their modification type stuff is horrifically overpriced which is why the lot of it is literally in packaged fading from the sun over the years. To me they just dont seem bothered by creating that home feeling that makes people want to come back. THis isnt the worst part though. By far the worst part is the service pricing. 100+ dollars to change a tire ? Get real guys..... Nothing wrong with capitalism but you are riding a dying bird to its grave thanks to the online wholesale at the tip of even your grandmothers fingers and the people who are still above water have done so because they have loyal followers from years of great service for a good price and they stay competitive in parts and labor cost. I dont want to hear that you have the best mechanics because in the city because we both know that isnt true.... Thats my 2 cents and I hope this is taken constructively rather than as an insult.

Im surprised by some of the negative reviews. I found them to be extremely helpful without being constantly interrupted or followed around. When I had a question I had no trouble getting help. I had interactions with sales, service, parts and credit. I found all of them to be both professional and helpful. I have a much better opinion of these folks and their commitment to the customer. I dressed myself to look like I didnt have two dimes to rub together and drove my old beater. Maybe thats why I wasnt given too much attention but they were there and helpful when I was ready for them. Update 4/26/2013 - As often will happen we had a couple of bumps at the end of the transaction. While I felt the problem to be their error, I found their people to be polite and courteous even when dealing with a problem. Service manager went out of his way to make sure things were up to snuff after initial problem. I think you get your best insight into a company when everything doesnt work perfectly. Are they thick skinned enough to take criticism. How will they respond? Will I burn my bridges if I press my issue and pi$$ off the people I plan to have a long term relationship with? I can say that after initial dissatisfaction they made a great recovery. I wont hesitate to use them in the future.

I went to this store to look for my first bike ... and I was excited because it was to be my first. I walked in the store and looked at some Spyders in the front of the store and on to the back to look at used inventory. I was there 15 minutes and no one offered to help me although I walked past 3 supposed sales people at the front of the store. Finally I the sales manager said something to me and he said someone would help me ... I said who one of the 3 people up front talking who totally ignored me when I came in. One of them finally came to the back and gave me prices on a couple of bikes I inquired about but I wondered over to their new inventory and never saw a salesman again. Also their dealer markup a.k.a. known as delivery and dealer setup cost was $750 compared to $500 at another dealership for the same bikes. I inquired about why there price was so much more than others and was told that is just what they charge. No money from me ... and I purchased a used bike 2 weeks later elsewhere!

Went to go look at a used bike, after calling and talking to them 15 minutes ago. Told me bike is still for sale, and will be there when i show up, 5 minute drive away. Get there, a group of what i can guess is employees, chatting it up blocking the entrance door, giving me rude looks, because i want to go in, and barely letting me in. Get inside walk around 10+ minutes, not one word is spoken to me, then a guy in non work clothes, no name badges, no company logos, says hey from about 20ft away, as i have already turned to walk out of the store, i look at him, he just says hey again, then asks if im looking, I did not respond as he is in no attire to identify himself as an employee, did not have courtesy, or anything. Mind you there were 3 workers at a counter 2 at another, and 2 more at 2 separate desks, not one word, glance, or otherwise. I was 1 of 2 customers in the store. This is very very poor. The icing on the cake, the bike was already sold when i arrived. Super crappy service and people.

After reading all of the negative reviews, I decided to stop in anyway. All I can figure is that there must have been different people working there today. I was greeted by several people. I spoke with the first guy for about 10 minutes when he passed me off to an expert. This guy (Zack I think) really knew his stuff and gave me some different options that I hadnt been considering. Its yet to be determined whether Ill be doing business with them at this point because Im still price shopping. For that reason, I maybe should have waited on the whole 5 star thing but I thought it fair to them to leave an honest review of my first experience. Hopefully theyll be getting back with me on some great pricing and I can leave a positive follow up review.

Purchased my bike a year ago took it there to get serviced. Was told a few things after it had been looked at and gotten serviced end result was I should probably sale it youll get nothing but problems. I kept it havent had any major problems but I did have to keep calling and making sure they completed what I originally requested after they made suggestions. Labor is somewhat on the high end. They had my bike for approx 6 weeks. As far rudeness I personally didnt experience that, I was greeted by everyone anytime I would visit. They also seemed very knowledgeable as well. I use them as a back-up shop I didnt have a horrible or absolutely negative experience with the staff and yes Id recommend them to others, maybe I got lucky

Service manager was good and the work was completed as agreed. However, when I went to pay my bill for service I ran into some real boneheads on the retail counter. Their credit card machine was down, so they wouldnt let me leave with my bike. I told them to take my credit card number and run it the next day, or I would sign an IOU or whatever they wanted, but they said I would have to leave my bike there until their system was functioning. I kept my cool and found a solution to the problem myself, but they were disrespectful and discourteous throughout the ordeal. Service manager was embarrased and apologetic, but that didnt make up for my hour at the retail counter. I found another place for service on my Kawasaki.
