Do NOT- I repeat- DO NOT give this location any of your time or money. What a waste. The manager that my friend- the bride- spoke with promised that she could get us the sizes our party needed in dresses they didnt have at the store from the warehouse for us to try on- without purchasing. The bride called earlier this week and they assured her that even though they werent there yet, they would be here by today. 30 minutes away from the shop (We also drove from Champaign, IL to this location) they called us and said that the delivery service (fed ex, ups, whatever they use) hadnt delivered the dresses. When we got to the store, no one greeted us, we had dresses in our hands for around 15 minutes before anyone came over to us, and when we got there they had no explanation or apologies for why they hadnt delivered on their promises. We tried the few dresses that we liked on, and even though I am aware that lots of women tried these dresses, these were awful. Most of them were ripped, missing hooks and buttons, or coated in makeup/other residue. During the whole appointment time, the manager on duty was rude and condescending to us, and treating us like we were idiots when we had questions about the dresses. She then saw that the bride and my friend were physically upset- crying- and asked us what she could do to help. We explained why we were frustrated- that we were promised that these dresses would be shipped to the store for us to try, that we had all taken off work to drive two hours to try these dresses and that we werent offered much of an explanation or compensation. She then commented that they would only ship from the warehouse if the dresses were actually being purchased, and then pretty much walked away. Uh, what. That would have been nice to know when we set the appointment, or at any time really. The bottom line is that this location is extremely unprofessional. If they could not get us the dresses without purchasing, that would be one thing, but to tell us something completely different is unacceptable. They were rude, and unhelpful. Their staff should be trained to know the correct information and when we called another location they confirmed that without purchase dresses couldnt be gotten from the warehouse. We all wasted a day of our time and they were not sorry and they did not care. This location will not get one dime from me or the other members of the party- and I am in the Bridal industry; I will make sure everyone knows not to go to them as well.

My experience at Alfred Angelo Bridal in Castleton was absolutely amazing! I am a major tomboy, that hates to dress up and I was dreading looking for a wedding dress, but the staff was incredible and it made it so easy. The first time I walked in the door they gave me a quick tour and allowed me to look around, I found a few dresses I wanted to try on so I set up an appointment. When I went in for my first appointment I worked with Christian and she was great, she got the dresses I wanted to try on and then she picked out a few others for me to try. She took a lot of time to work with me and was so patience. The other staff was also very willing to give input and help out as much as possible. They were not at all pushy and greatly encouraged me to take some time to think about it. I went back about a week later after I made my official decision. I didnt have an appointment and was just planning on ordering the dress, but Kim encouraged me to try it again, just to make sure. So I tried it on again and they helped me try on veils and other accessories. They spent a lot of time with me, answered questions and just overall we had a ton of fun, laughing and joking. All of the staff members took a ton of time to work with me and because of them I am now very excited to walk down the aisle in the perfect dress!

Alfred Angelo was the very first place I went to try on wedding dresses. As a new bride I was excited and anxious at the same time--there is a certain amount of pressure that surrounds picking THE DRESS. The service at Alfred Angelo was professional and courteous from booking the appointment over the phone all the way through my bridal appointment and ultimate gown purchase. Gabby was my bridal stylist and did an excellent job at listening to what I was looking for as well as guiding me from dress to dress and prompted me to verbalize what I liked and/or didnt like. That was extremely helpful to me in deciding which gown was right for me. I had two other bridal appointments that same day and explained I was not ready to buy yet. There was no pressure from anyone to "make the sale," but rather, they took my measurements and information so that if/when I decided to buy, the process would be simple. The service I received at those other stores did not compare to my experience at Alfred Angelo. When I returned that evening to purchase the gown I had decided was MY DRESS they gladly accommodated me and allowed me to try it on again. The ordering process was efficient and easy. I highly recommend Alfred Angelo to any customer looking for a professional and friendly dress shopping experience.

The staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. They do have a good selection of dresses at reasonable prices. In planning my wedding, I was under a time constraint. The manager and staff were wonderful in working with me on getting the dress in a timely fashion. I was told their inventory showed a dress in their warehouse that could be altered for my size. I received a call a day or so later saying there had been a mistake in their inventory and they actually did not have a dress already made. As I liked that particular dress very much, they were extremely flexible and had the dress manufactured at a rush without charging me any additional fee. I was told the dress would arrive on a particular Friday (January 9th) about three weeks prior to my wedding, along with a bolt of fabric that had been ordered. I did not hear anything from them, and called the following Monday or Tuesday (I cannot remember which day) and found that the dress had arrived the previous week. The bolt of fabric had not yet arrived, so I ended up making alternative arrangements for additional fabric. In sum, they were very workable and extremely pleasant to work with. I very much liked the dress (which also ended up being remarkably comfortable) and found it to be of good quality.

I gave a 1 because of the seamstress Hannah whom ruined my wedding dress I wish there was a negatime stars option. Hannah was suppose to remove the train, fluff inside the dress, and hem the dress. This required her to remove all of the lace that trimmed the bottom and sew it back on. The seamstress ran a sewing machine across the lace of the dress in lines that crossed on and off the lace onto the dress rather than following the edge of the lace it looks horribe. She also snagged beads, tore beads off, made holes in the dress, left pins in the dress, and took some of the corners of the lace and burned the edges leaving brownish orange remains. And the least of her offenses was not removing the fluff. Kim the manager was very sweet no one could fix the damage done and the dress was discontinued so they could not get me a new one. Kim refunded the cost of the dress and some of the cost of the alterations fee. So I could search for a new dress and wear this one if I couldnt find anything else. I really appreciate all Kim did to help me. But I have to give a bad review because I dont want anyone to have their heart broken the way mine was by Kim destroying their dream dress.
