I cannot say enough positive things about The RoomPlace. I am a very reluctant shopper when it comes to big purchases and I love to be informed. After looking at many different furniture stores and thinking that we may need to “settle” on living room furniture that somewhat met our expectations, we stopped by The RoomPlace in Carmel on a whim and I can say that I am very happy that I did. Not only was the salesperson, Bob Burgher, extremely knowledgeable but he made the buying experience pleasant and very easy. There was absolutely no high pressure sales happening (like at other stores) and Bob made the process so easy that we walked out of the store with a new sectional and ottoman purchase, set for delivery a few days later. In addition to Bob, the other two employees at The RoomPlace were very pleasant and made the whole experience exceptional. As for delivery, the scheduler called the day before the scheduled delivery date and gave me a very reasonable delivery window. The next day, the delivery guys showed up promptly and set up all the furniture with no problem. Overall, I cannot recommend The RoomPlace enough and when it is time for us to replace our bedroom furniture I will definitely not waste my time going anywhere else.

Months long delays in delivery, failing to meet delivery windows when scheduled by several hours, undelivered items, broken items, rescheduled delivery of rescheduled deliveries that had previously been rescheduled. Customer service in trying to resolve and get answers to where and when furniture would be arriving was poor and unhelpful. Store manager was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. We are almost 2 months past our original scheduled delivery date awaiting the 3rd and 4th deliveries which were just rescheduled again. By the time we have our final delivery, assuming it goes as currently scheduled, we will be almost 3 months past the initial delivery date we were promised for all items. Even the third party contracted delivery guys had complaints and were quick to recommend other furniture stores. Absolutely would not recommend and will not return to this store.

Not to long ago I had the fabulous pleasure of calling Roomplace in Carmel. It was after a long day of shopping for furniture for my future dorm room and I was at my whits with the terrible selection and service at day-to-day places like Walmart and Target. i was about to give up and consider using my old busted desk from home. However, a friend of mine suggested that I at least call Roomplace. When I did very sweet young lady by the name of Sydney picked up and proceeded to guide my worn out soul through the Elysium of Roomplace. She was polite, attentive, informative and devilishly charming as she answered all my questions. I never thought I would find such bliss seeking out information about furniture. I would recommend Roomplace to anyone whos looking to furnish their living space, and I will defiantly have to tell my college friends.

Im a picky person when it comes to what I want. Most cases I know specifically what I want. I went to RoomPlace to just browse to get a perspective on what I wanted. The customer service was excellent. Although I was not yet ready to purchase, the sales team, specifically Jaleen White, listened to what I wanted and helped me in my selections. He was gracious, interesting and knowledgeable. He provided me with options and opportunity to search at my leisure but close enough to not let me wonder. I ultimately bought a bedroom set and mattress. I really enjoyed working with Jaleen and will definitely go again. In fact I am encouraging anyone and everyone I can to go to the Room Place to shop and look Jaleen up while they are there.

I called into the carmel location and was inquiring about some new furniture, but was unsure of what i wanted or needed, i spoke to "sydney" who kindly and graciously helped me in answering all my questions to the fullest! She was extremely thorough and offered many very helpful suggestions, she displayed great customer service and represented the company in such a fantastic way, with this being said, after such a pleasent phone conversation i WILL be recommending the room place in carmel to all of my friends who are looking for what i was looking for the day i called, i highly recommend this company and this location, simply because of the ease, and amount of genuine support i was givin with my inquiry!!!

If they send you damaged furniture (3 out of 3 pieces were damaged!) and you decide that youd rather just return everything than deal with them "repairing" your brand new furniture, they will charge you a 15% restocking fee. Absolutely steer clear of this place if you want a hassle free experience. Its fine until you are sent damaged goods and want a refund. When you drop almost 3k on new furniture, you probably expect better quality and customer service, just like I did. It wont happen here! Im skeptical of the positive reviews. Just look at any other Room Place location to see the true reviews of this place, or just check consumeraffairs. Never again.

If I could give a negative on stars I would. Been waiting on one piece to be delivered for months now. Because of where I live I can only have a Friday delivery. Then the store calls just days before I am scheduled to receive my items and tells me its pushed back another month. I work for a living and have to give a months notice to take an extra day off to get things done. This will make the 4th time I have had to do this. I do not recommend this furniture store to anyone. This has been nothing but a hassle from the beginning.

Wont go anywhere else but this location! Sydney (Dirks) was absolutely wonderful! If I could give this 10 stars I would. She was very helpful and patient and answered all of our questions. She helped give us advice on which of the pieces would help accentuate our room and made our choices very easy. She was very friendly and wore a wonderful smile the entire time. I could go on! Best location, would come back just for her. Recommended highly to all of my friends. By the way, that Sydney girl needs a raise!!

We will not go back to this place. We Purchased a really nice sofa that my wife wanted. Comfortable and perfect. I wish I could get someone to actually deliver it, but a month later I still cannot get it delivered. They contract the delivery out, and you better hope you dont have a job because if you cant be there exactly when THEY want to deliver it, you get to wait another week and try again. We are going on four weeks and still cannot get delivery of a $2500 piece of furniture.

Let me start by saying I hate shopping and that it takes a lot for me to even consider doing surveys or writing reviews. My experience in your store was very pleasant. Your staff was ready to assist and answered my questions. One person in particular was extremely helpful. It is refreshing to see a young person with such a good attire and work ethic. Because of Sydney, I will not only be back but I will also be recommending your store to all my friends. Sydney is a true asset to your store!

They dont even deserve one star. I have never had so many problems with buying furniture. I bought a whole new bedroom set. I have had problems with them from day one and here it is almost 4 months later and Im still having problems with them. Im still missing a piece to the bed. I sent a chest and mirror back still not off my bill. Cant send me a break down of my bill. I dont get way it is so hard to please your customers. Dont recommend going thru the headache Im still dealing with.
