Didnt get what I paid for. I had my wedding flowers done through Ellis Floral. I met with Judy, the owner, several times and she was very nice. We ironed out a contract and I had set to have my fiance pick up the flowers the morning of the wedding. When we opened the boxes we realized the flowers for the arch were wrong. I had ordered white and yellow roses and greenery to go on the arch. I dont know what kind of flowers I was given but they were not anywhere near as elegant as roses, I dont even know if I would call them pretty. There were no white flowers, only yellow. Also we had ordered extra greenery to go on the tables for the reception. It was not there. There was no greenery except for what went on the arch. The only things about the order that was right was the bouquets and boutonnieres. Everything else was wrong or simply not there. Since my fiance was the one to pick them up, we didnt open the boxes until we were at the ceremony site and we had no choice but to use what was there, but we were not happy and it caused undue stress on our wedding day. I will never do business with this company again. Save your time and your money.

I have 2 years of training in flower arrangement and I have to say that their flowers are way overpriced for the quality.They dont last very long at all. I havent been to the store in a few years, but the cashier and a person arranging flowers were very unpleasant when I asked a few questions. Also, a friend of mine had her wedding flowers done by them, and the arrangement I thought was mediocre and not impressive at all. It looks nothing like the photos they show you beforehand.

Paid a lot for my flowers, which was not a big deal, but asked to have them delivered on Valentines Day. Paid 9 bucks for delivery, but the driver did not get to my girlfriends house until 6pm when no one was home. So they left a note with the company name and phone number so they can deliver on the 15th. Now she knows what she is getting, and is getting it AFTER Valentines Day. Kind of pointless now. Thansks.

The woman who answered the phone was condescending and gave a sarcastic apology when I told her she was being rude. I hung up the phone and called Walnut House Gift & Floral Co. Walnut House took care of me at a fraction of the price and was happy to do it. The flowers were beautiful.

When I found out that Ellis was under new ownership, I was thrilled! Ted Ladyman is a wonderful person and will do a great job running Ellis. I just ordered flowers from them the other day and beautiful doesnt even begin to describe the arrangement. Keep up the great work Ellis!
