The people in sales are wonderful, but of course they kind of have to be. Thats how the company makes money! Im a younger guy who works hard to be and remain totally independent. JD Byrider challenges that independence by selling extremely unreliable cars. I signed a 4-year agreement and right now Im just under reaching the 2 year mark of this God-forsaken contract to be over. So far, the radiator has been replaced along with the radio and some other minor but necessary replacements (in regards to safety). Now today, Im almost 3 hours away in my hometown visiting my family (I have an ailing grandfather) to help out and my transmission has failed and its costing $1500 to replace. Of course, none of the issues with my truck were covered under the Service Agreement. I actually start my 2nd job tomorrow and I have to find away to not only get home, but to get to both jobs AND get back to my hometown once my truck has been fixed. I would also like to note that I find it odd that when setting an appointment with the JD Byrider Service Center for an oil change that the closest available appointment is always at least a week away (sometimes 2 weeks) and the Service Center lot is ALWAYS packed full. I honestly feel like JD Byrider sells the cars patched up enough for issues to go unnoticed for awhile and once the customer has the car and it breaks down, they either cant afford the repair and stop paying for a car they cant drive or they pay for the repair and need an extension on the payment.....and JD Byrider starts bugging you and your references less than 24 hours after your payment is due. My payment was due on a Friday and I needed to make the payment Monday when I picked up my check from work because I was out of town. JD Byrider just repossesses the car (which the customer is still responsible for paying off) and just patches the car up and sells it again. If it wasnt for God and a blessed family that supports me because they notice what Im striving for and how hard I work, I dont know what I would do. Please, avoid this place by all means necessary. Youd be just as good, if not better, to buy at a smaller buy here, pay here or even get a car from Craigslist.

I have had a pretty good experience with the Anderson location. The sales associate who sold me the car was helpful and very friendly. Her name was Lisa Anderson. Thecar is great. I should however have asked that it be cleaned again. After further inspection of the vehicle after we got it home I noticed melted chocolate in the console compartment and things under the seats. The detail department needs work. However, John the service manager is outstanding. We habe only had 2 reasons to call on him and one was the oil change. The problem we had was taken care of as soom as he could get us in and with no hassle what so ever I give both Lisa and John the highest of marks for customer satisfaction! That being said. The finace manager was a total dissatisfaction. I have had problem after problem with what he was supposed to set up and verify. The young man who works as his assistant or something was very fast to correct the problems and fix everything that was wrong almost instantly. He was very helpful and took care of everything while I was on the phone with him. Great young man!

Nothing major has every went wrong with my HHR, but when it started rattling and banging I was worried. I called and made an appointment to have it looked at in hopes it would be under my warranty! Just my luck it wasnt!!! John kept me updated with what was going on and inforome before doing anything. In the end he worked with me giving me an amazing deal on the work hed done. I will go to the shop from here on out for any work needing done to my car. Thanks again John. You were great.

John and the guys at J.d. Byrider are awsome. I bought a Kia Optima yesterday and it needed a battery. They test drove it and said that nothing was wrong with it but they would still replace it. It was around noon and they were getting ready to leave for lunch when I showed up. They put lunch on hold just to replace my battery. Sorry guys but thanks a millie☺

Love my sales man, but the finance guy took so long I was late getting to where I had to go and did not get done what was needed. I still love my new car though just dont appreciate how long it took. Last time I financed a car it was done on the phone and I signed paperwork when my car was delivered to me at work.

Excellent job on fixing the rattling and shaking on my car. Its running better than when I bought it a month ago. Its so quiet I forgot it was still running. John was courteous and explained everything that was repaired. Id recommend them, and will visit again if there are any other problems.
