Me and my Fiance went into Georgetown as probably the worst customer because we were very picky and thought we new what we wanted. There was a great invatory of rings and jewelry but nothing that was exactly what we wanted. Liz was so patient with us trying to find our ring. It became apparent after a while that we needed to build a custom ring. The whole process would have been soo overwhelming if not for Liz. She coached us through the whole thing. We told her everything that we wanted in the ring and she had a 3D drawing made up, from there we found what we actually liked and we wound up by the end changing from the origanal design 6 times. Every time getting a new drawing to see how it looked. When we though we had the ring of our dreams. We had a wax mold made of the ring. Thank God we did because we made 2 more changes after that. When we had the second wax mold made it looked and fit perfectly. The end result it so amazing. A one of a kind ring that was more beautiful than we ever imagined. We could have never made such a beautiful perfect ring without Georgetown Jewelers and Liz. The whole team was delightful everytine we went in. And the suggestions from both Liz and Scott were what helped us design what i am proud to say is my Fiances Engagement ring. I will deffinatly be coming back for all my jewelry needs, and have highly recommended them to multiple friends already.

They have a lot of nice things here. However, one of the women working there (larger size, short hair that is dark brown.. older lady) was completely rude! Let me list the way she treated us: First of all, never judge your customers by how they look or their age. She kept harassing us asking if we needed help and we told her twice that we would let her know. Then, I asked her if a sapphire is a type of diamond (how the heck would I know? Thats why I asked!) she chuckled as if I was stupid and looked shocked as if I should have known. She explained that they are completely different, etc... her tone and the way she was talking to us was as if we were stupid or little children Additionally, she says in a very rude tone "the bigger the diamond, the more expensive" .... what? Isnt that obvious? We asked her if she had a diamon in a certain price range (my boyfriend bought me a diamond necklace for the range we asked for) and she responded so rudely "theres no way we would have anything for that price" then proceeds to show us things way out of our price range. Will never go back.

The staff at Georgetown Jewelers are friendly, helpful and most importantly very knowledgeable about the jewelry in their store. They have something for everyone in a variety of price ranges. The staff work with you to help you find the right gift without any pressure or being pushy. The sales person we usually work with is Debra. We have worked with her for several years now and she has come to know our taste. She can call us and say "a piece just came in that I think you would love" and usually she hits the nail on the head! Tracey is another sales person who is very knowledgeable and friendly. She has designed a beautiful pendant for me in the past using my stones from other jewelry that I owned. Every time I wear it, I get so many compliments. It has become one of my favorite pieces. I highly recommend Georgetown Jewelers the next time you need a special gift.

Im so overjoyed to be writing this review of Georgetown Jewelers. My fiance proposed to me on NYE 2016, Nearly 6 years after we first met in college. We were separated for several years, but reunited at the beginning of the year; on his birthday (2-6) we became a couple. I graciously accepted his proposal and couldnt wait to see the band. I met Liz at Georgetown who gave me the low down on all things wedding rings! Liz is so professional and knowledgeable by giving us the best options, showing us the new trends and keeping our budget in mind. I am so grateful and thankful for all of her help, and will continue to make all my jewelry purchases with them. When it comes to customization and personalization, they totally nail it!

This place is fantastic! What I appreciate most is the customer service. They are very honest, professional and genuine. My family has been going to them for over 15 years. We trust them with all over our fine jewelry needs. Whether it is cleaning, repair or a new purchase. Recently my fiancé and I went there and worked with Liz to design my engagement ring. I was nervous at first to start the process but she took us step by step and was so helpful and patient with me. We are in love with the outcome! She did a outstanding job. We also purchased my wedding ring from them. I love that they have so many unique pieces.

I went to Georgetown Jewelers to have my Fiancee ring appraised. Scott the appraiser had a very impressive amount of certifications. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He was very thorough in appraising the ring. Done the right way. The paperwork given for Appraisal was very professional as well. Georgetown Jewelers provided a very home like feeling and made sure was comfortable. I highly recommend going to them for all your jeweler needs.

Georgetown has helped my husband and I so many times now! We ordered both our wedding bands from them, had my rings soldered together, had my husbands ring resized when necessary, and had a ruby ring completley fixed after extensive wear and tear. Everything we need done they find a way to do it. Its always done quickly and the people are so kind! Its always a wonderful experience!!!
