Wow, Ive never encountered such friendly staff. Mr. Andy was more than helpful in guiding my decision of knives and was funny and nice even when my mom and I had dumb questions. He also helped me out with my Thule roof rack questions. He even said he loved working for the company as it has great values. What can beat a positive attitude like that, right? Later that night I called in because I thought I left my ipod behind. Even after closing time, the staff was super nice and even checked the store for me (turns out, I actually left it somewhere else, oops). I will definitely return to this location!! :)

Fantastic service. The clerks were so helpful and, most important, knowledgeable about their products. They went above and beyond helping me find the perfect size. Then, when they didnt have the coat I wanted in the size I needed and the color I preferred, the clerk spent a good 45 minutes calling other L.L. Bean stores all across the country. She finally located one for me, I ordered it and it was delivered to my door two days later. I will definitely return here because of the outstanding service.

Going shopping at L.L. Bean, Arboretum of South Barrington, 100 W Higgins Rd, South Barrington, IL 60010 is fun. Its not like going to original store in New England but its still fun. Great store and staff to help with whatever questions that you have and items you may need locating.

There are no stores where I live so it was nice to actually step foot in a LL Bean store after ordering via catalog all these years later. Great store and good selection of clothing, but no sizes for tall people.

Sure, you can get quality merchandise from Lands End, Eddie Bauer, REI, Erewhon, etc. But no other merchant matches LL Bean for customer service.
